What phase is it likely to reach before it sells out?0

I wouldn't rule out going to General Sale, we've got 2,503 tickets.0

Blimey how skint are some people 🤷♂️0

So the owners spend in excess of £10M on players.
Some of our fans react by complaining that the coach is £5/£10 over priced.
A factual observation, not necessarily a criticism.2 -

I know attending the majority of games cost me more than any other household bill except my rent, it's a hell of a commitment to attend away games and people shouldn't be mocked for highlighting how expensive it is.
Twenty is plenty, should never be more imo.10 -

I believe the away end holds just under 4000. If the initial allocation sells out will we get more.
I assume though that City's wind up merchants would already have purchased theirs by that time in that stand though.0 -

Also the coach to Bristol Rovers last October was £23, so about a 50 per cent increase based on the area travelling to
Some one is making a good profit.
Never like that when CASC ran the coaches and Trains.0 -

This question will have been asked alot but how many supporters are there in each pts band - how many are in Cat 1 600 club & the other pts bands & Valley Gold, I have 520pts and this year is my first as a Valley Gold member....does that mean phase 5 as a Valley Gold member qualifies me or do i have to wait to Phase 7 with 520 pts? I've only managed 3-4 aways per season in 55+yrs and this season is first one i have time to add to my rather shallow list of 38 grounds visited....
Phase 5: 550 loyalty points and Valley Gold - Wednesday, July 30th @ 2pm
Phase 6: 550 loyalty points - Wednesday, July 30th @ 4pm
Phase 7: 520 loyalty points or Valley Gold - Thursday, July 31st @ 11am

I would have thought they could put this more or less straight away on general sale1
-
I'm guessing part of having so many phases is because of the new ticketing system, more points = better seats to choose from. Of course that falls down when you arrive and no one is in their assigned seat0

They have an impressive ST count so their demand may mean that’s all we’re getting0

Never like that when CASC ran the coaches and Trains.CAFCBourne said:£35 to get to Bristol picked up from your local town don’t seem to unreasonable to meWatford charged £20 to Bristol City in April and are charging £12 to The Valley. The ethos of the Charlton coach service going back decades has been to provide a good value method of getting as many fans as possible to away games. In the process CASC and the club have made some profit, which enabled CASC to employ a member of staff and, later, the club to subsidise Valley Express, which generates ticket revenue for it.
The club has over time abandoned this model, trying to break even on Valley Express, almost certainly cutting its ticket revenue in the process.Bristol City looks on the face of it to be a move towards a 100% mark-up on a full coach. A decade ago, we would make more profit by running more coaches at lower fares, which involves accepting a small level of risk. Some you win and some you lose.
I don’t think the club’s spending and operating losses come into a discussion of the right fare because 1) higher prices do not necessarily equal more profit and 2) if the higher fare is unaffordable to you the club’s expenditure on players is irrelevant. You do not owe the club or its owners your food or electricity budget.
it should be obvious that some people do not attend away games because they are unaffordable to them.
It’s almost impossible to run away coaches at a loss unless you set out to do so, but trying to extract the maximum profit from the most committed and often least affluent supporters is a choice which should be made consciously by people who understand that is what they are doing. In the end, it’s a trivial financial decision to the club but a more significant cultural one.11 -
Yes, their stadium map indicates Away Fans exclusivity so on second thoughts looks good for more . I agree with Airman that we will sell out what I hope is an initial allocation1
