    If Mumba costs anywhere near that then £800k on Fukuda looks worth the gamble, but I get why we hoped to get him on loan, bigger risk and out of contract in 6 months.
    You're right, I have got my wires crossed. 

    Mumba does have the exact same transfer market valuation though so he would probably cost a similar fee.

    You’re probably right though as every big fee signing has been a starter and a new wing back is unlikely to be one with Edwards and Apter here already 
    NJ may try Apter at wingback, but I very much doubt it will work, he is a winger not a fullback and you have to be both at wingback, especially in a division we are going to struggle in.

    A player who can do both effectively wouldn’t be playing championship football they’d be in the prem. A wingback you would describe as someone who does defensive duties first then gets forward. In Apter’s case he’s going to play as a winger with more emphasis on defending than a traditional winger. Having a winger who plays more defensively only out of possession isn’t going to limit how he attacks he’s still going to be told to bomb down the wings and take players on and try and create

    Let’s send back the signings, get a refund and bring back Chuks. That way we’ll know our best team and none of the Wembley heroes have to be dropped.

    I didn’t think Kelman was going to happen. Never thought Knibbs wasn’t at least on the cards although I did think it would take a bit longer to get done because of the other clubs interested. No Damascus moment. I still believe we’ll have another 3 in.

    Not true. In fact, quite the opposite.

    My sources tell me that bringing in Ahadme was a non-negotiable for Burstow. The two are mutual admirers and feel that they complement each other on (and off) the pitch.

    All I can say is that if this dynamic duo do get paired up, then League One defenders better buckle up - as they are in for a HELL of a ride.

    It's funny cause when we were originally linked I thought he would have been a good pick up, now I wouldn't be fussed and think we can do much better.
