Four people have been arrested by police investigating the cyber-attacks that have caused havoc at M&S and the Co-op.
The National Crime Agency (NCA) says a 20-year-old woman was arrested in Staffordshire, and three males - aged between 17 and 19 - were detained in London and the West Midlands.
They were apprehended on suspicion of Computer Misuse Act offences, blackmail, money laundering and participating in the activities of an organised crime group.
All four were arrested at their homes in the early hours of Thursday. Electronic devices were also seized by the police.
One of the suspects - a 19-year-old man - is from Latvia, the rest are from the UK.

Cyber attacks that disclose personal data and also cost companies millions of pounds really should carry a prison sentence.
It's getting worse and worse and happening more often.
Tougher sentences are long overdue.1 -

Two teenagers have been charged as part of a National Crime Agency (NCA) investigation into a cyber attack on Transport for London.
TfL suffered a major hack on 31 August last year, which investigators believe was carried out by members of the cyber-criminal group, Scattered Spider.
Thalha Jubair, 19, from east London, and Owen Flowers, 18, from Walsall in the West Midlands, were arrested at their home addresses on Tuesday by the NCA and City of London Police.
Both are expected to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on Thursday afternoon.
