TootingRedArmy said:Why Tracey has left is her business. As someone who went above and beyond, we should simply be grateful, just as we are with any long-serving player for her 10 years of incredible dedication to the club. It’s likely linked to her professional life, wanting a new challenge, and as a parent, the chance to enjoy watching Miles play with Carl without it being her “job.” As I’ve said before I hope the club recognises her at the Watford game, while most fans are in the ground.
At LONG last, it's time for that big celebration cake to be wheeled out to the centre circle and dah, dah, daaaah ! Two mature but perfectly formed female Addicks jump out onto the pitch amid flames & balloons with the cries from the Stands of " Tracey ! Tracey" echoing around The Valley as she follows, clad in a super sparkly Wonder Woman costume !!!
Apart from stretcher bearers quickly entering onto the pitch to aid the 2 forerunners off, what could POSSIBLY go wrong ?17 -
Does anyone else feel 'our Tracey' has worked for Charlton for longer than 10 years ?
Maybe she was just a volunteer or she was at the Valley with Carl but I thought she had worked at Charlton for at least 15 years ?
I just hope Miles can have the success at CAFC that his mum and Dad achieved in their different ways.
If he can stay fit the 25/26 season, he gets his career back on track.1 -

BTW are you still in same seats in East Stand this season? I sit at the end of the row and we say hello each game but you won't know me as Tooting Red Army.0 -

I think it could be she has been offered a more high profile roll somewhere, I would expect it wouldn't have gone unoticed what she has down at Charlton, who is to say a bigger club or even the national set up haven't offered her a role.0

Really hope that whoever comes in to replace Tracey, will keep up the tradition of PSA testing at the Valley.4

When is Tracey leaving, she was there by the tunnel Saturday no? Eyesight not the best.0
-
She was by the tunnel and was coaxing the team to do the tunnel jump. Would have loved to see a proper goodbye to her (but did not hear one on the day). Maybe she is still around for Leicester game?0
-
She is waiting for the Millwall game when she will come on 2nd half & score the winner....!!21

Which indicates that the club doesn't intend to make any kind of public presentation to her to thank her for the sterling work she has carried out over the 10+ years that she's been with us...
...and the hundreds of extra hours she's gladly worked in that time.
And don't let us forget the annual Prostate Cancer testing that she has organised in the name of her dear Dad who sadly suffered from this cruel disease. Saving lives.
I call this a dereliction of duty by those at our club who call the tune & are totally aware that it will be virtually impossible to find a successor in her mould.
The saying is " You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone".
Ain't that the truth.

For there to be no recognition from the club to Tracey something is out of kilter here10

Im not in ITK but dont want to go down a route of bashing the club with zero evidence.65 -

Wonder if Tracey leaving might be something to do with making it easier in the future for Miles to go, should an offer come in and all things line up.

It's quite possible a presentation could be made just after Tracey has left as well as just before.7
