Even with only Valley Gold, you could have purchased at phase 7.
  • Anyone finds they have a spare . Give me a shout please .

King Charles has got one ......
  • What are the chances of QPR releasing more tickets? Any chance?

Go wish in one hand & 💩 in the other, see which one fills up first.
  • It's perhaps unfortunate that the nearest away grounds this season are amongst the smallest grounds in the division, which means that the away sections for the nearest games will be relatively small.

After Wrexham, the next 3 smallest grounds are Oxford, QPR and Millwall, with Watford 7th smallest. Pompey, another popular away day, is the 5th smallest.
  • The spanners will probably only give us the top tier of their away end again, so expect around 2,000 available for that, not much more than QPR.

Boro had the lower as well on Saturday. Didn’t fill it, but definitely down there.

I think the police will have a say in whether we get the lower tier.

Think home tickets are already on sale down there.

Ive been to the last few spanners away games, and we never had both tiers available.

Strangely in the friendly against them a couple of years ago, we had the bottom tier.

    They're talking about millwall.
  • Tough one to address and not helped by not having the lower tier.

I feel a bit shit seeing people have missed out as I did secure one through a friend who was able to get online earlier than I would’ve been (I could get on from 2pm Tuesday, he could get on Monday at 4pm).  I haven’t done an away game since Port Vale in November 22 due to family commitments, so I know there a few that have done a lot of away games since then that have likely missed out.

we were in the lower tier at the pre-season friendly 2 years ago and Scumwall fans were pelting us with lighters, coins, small missiles etc. Tossers. So can see why police are unlikely to allow us in the bottom tier given also trouble the league game when we did get it approx 10 years ago

I don't think they're allowed to. Millwall do give some teams the lower tier but it always has the side blocks and a few rows at the front netted off.

Well I think they should give it to us. What are they afraid of?  ;)

    Their own fans most likely.

To be honest i don't see why they can't just give teams the full lower. The away stand is completely separated from the home stands so it's complete overkill by Millwall and/or the police to not let teams have the full end. Just put a big group of police (who will probably be there anyway) in each corner between the stands and it'll be fine.
Agreed have a few police in each corner watching both home and away supporters, and arrest anyone throwing stuff. I'd be amazed if anyone would be stupid enough to pelt opposition fans in full view of the police.

Interesting to see people who went to 2-3 away games last season complaining that they couldn't get a ticket for this one just because they have Valley Gold.

There were issues with the points system last season (I'm still missing some, but with 700+ points it isn't worth getting it fixed), as well as late announcements, that saw people who have been attending every game for years forced to sit with the home fans at several away games.

I'm one of several people who think that Valley Gold is overvalued. At the tail end of last season, I met several people at away games who were attending their first fixture in over 10 years in sold out away ends, just because they had Valley Gold.

Having a season ticket for this season and last, along with attending as few as ten away games last season, would have guaranteed you a ticket for QPR.

Even if you had just done all of the home games (cup included) and the playoff final at Wembley, you would have 495 points and would have only had to attend seven away games (possibly even less as I think they boosted the value of the playoff games for late buyers?) to be in phase 6. This really isn't a lot.

If you disagree and think that this is a lot, then you can't really complain that you couldn't get a ticket for this one.
Some valid points raised however with a season ticket for several years including selhurst and the boyelyn plus valley gold (for what it's worth) by the time it comes around on numerous occasions you couldn't buy an away game ticket. Obviously there are some games in far flung places when you can but that said on numerous occasions you can't buy a ticket because it's been sold out by the time it comes around to the points total I have. Div 1 grounds didn't help and reduction for QPR plus probably Millwall when it comes around won't help either. The system is flawed
  • There was a 0-0 at The Den around 2012/2013 where it kicked off at the end in the corner of the lower tier, I don't think we've had it since.

No away games in 2 years?

It's not 2 years though is it. It's last season and this season which is 2 games old (3 if you include the cup).

My 10yr old girl has done 7 aways and a cup game in that time which must make her one of the best travelled U11 fans I imagine, but sadly that wasn't enough to get her out of phase 8 so she is missing out on QPR.

(Not a complaint by the way, just an observation).  The positive spin is that the demand is because we are doing well and she is loving that.

If you had a S/T for this season and last season and only went to 8 away games last season you should have been able to get a ticket (and less than that if you attended cup games).
  • If you had a S/T for this season and last season and only went to 5 away games in each of the last 2 seasons you should have been able to get a ticket (and less than that if you attended cup games).
You needed 540 points for phase 7. Two season tickets and 6 away games.

    My girl has 535 points

    2 season tickets = 480

5 away games bought through the club = 50 points.

1 away game bought through the club v Peterborough but the club would not allocate to her as I only remembered to email them on the train on the way back from the game. Despite me including photos as evidence of attendance.

1 away game ticket bought from a lifer for a game that had sold.

1 cup game this season - but points not added until after.
