Not a member any more but from 1977 until I moved to Thailand in 2002. Even then I kept it running for a couple of years, returning for the Test Matches. Back now but haven't rejoined.0

I too am a Surrey CCC member. Remember Micky Stewart was in Charlton`s second eleven team in days gone by.0

Quarter final tomorrow
Squad announced.
I'd go with:
Lawrence
Roy
Pope
Evans
Sam
Tom
Sykes
Jordan
Atkinson
Worrall
Topley
Majid not good enough so Lawrence the only spin option. Who would have thought we would miss Jacks bowling even more than his batting! Missing Santner due to injury and Zampa due to him not wanting to stay in London 2 more days after flying I'm for his solitary blundred appearance in the final.
Suspect they will play sibley but I'd rather not. Not usually a fan of Worrall in this format but he has just had a great *competition that shall not be named* so we should use his form.
Overton, Smith and Jacks with England. We've got off surprisingly lightly compared to previous years international call ups. Just a shame both our spinners plus our part time spinner aren't around.

The Zampa situation is bizarre. Recalled by Australia (when they have no games until October), but allowed to fly halfway round the world for the Hundred final.
Sam Billings must have had a word with the Aussie Cricket Board, to make sure he could only play for the Invincibles, and not Surrey

Very pleasant day at the Oval so far. Centuries for Pope and Smith.
Josh Hull is bowling pretty well in a floundering attack. Interesting last session upcoming with Dan Lawrence not looking to hang around.0 -

Good job I made that error, Fanny, or no one would have responded to me at all. 😁Fanny Fanackapan said:

A glorious south London afternoon at the Oval. Surrey making slow and steady progress towards a first innings lead.
Lovely to see Sibley get a ton. A better shout than Crawley this summer. At least he prizes his wicket. Also great to see some young 'uns in Charlton shirts on the outfield at lunchtime.
Dan Lawrence just got his ton, too.

Finally, hello to the Kent voyeurs who can't help popping their noses in here. 👋

Excellent stuff. Have had some stuff going on so haven't managed to keep up to date with both charlton and Surrey. How are we doing?0

Same as last year then. Am I right that we didn't sign anyone for this season. Other than abbot as overseas?9goalswentpastperry said:

As an aside, I'm representing Surrey at walking cricket tomorrow at Lords*! Sounds like I must be good but in fact it's from a ballot! Now I'm thinking what have I got myself into!

Hate to tell you this but Surrey have only won three out of ten games in all competitions this season!blackpool72 said:

Thanks for checking in on us.Addick Addict said:Extremely quiet on here. How have you lot been getting along, results wise, recently?
All will be fine, I'm sure. Granted, yesterday afternoon was painful. Sat with four fellow Addicks, three of whom were grinning from ear to ear. Weather was lovely as was my vantage point.
Yes, the crowd was poor but one must factor in the lack of appeal of our visitors.

The ECB have done a great job of destroying the Blast. It's as if they’re deliberately sabotaging the first major T20 competition.3

For a Sunday afternoon game the crowd was actually good, I would estimate at around 14,000, that is a lot more than attended the Middlesex v Surrey game at lords the Sunday before.9goalswentpastperry said:

That's alright then . All is not lost after all.
