I would even throw LWB into consideration as well, not sure who covers for Edwards apart from Bell but not just that, think if we can improve on Edwards we should look at doing so.

a wingback to cover both sides would be ideal.

Well I hope its a Right Wing-Back then, as we need an alternative option to Apter.

We really need 2 or 3 if we have any chance of staying up and they need to be Premier League loans. The loan market is undervalued and I don't care if we improve someone else's player if it means we stay in this division.

Totally agree we lack proper championship quality Atm until proven otherwise/some get upto speed and improve, top quality loans would help us greatly and just 1 in won't help much unless it's some wonderkid.

Very dramatic to say we only have a chance of staying up if we sign 2 or 3 PL loans tomorrow.
After watching the last three games I was going to suggest it's time to crack each other's heads open and feast on the goo inside.

Can we all remember back a few weeks when we signed some highly regarded players, ie Kaminski, Apter, Carey, Kelman, Tanto, JRC, Knibbs, and we were all saying how nice it will be to get to the last day of the window not desperately hoping for a last minute loan just as the window closes....
Well, here we are already hoping for just that, strange how history has a way of catching up with you eh, so we can no doubt look forward to 7pm Monday again, just like old times...😉
  • We definitely need more than one. Some sort of flair in the attack and then a wingback

Yes we need more than one, but we are only going to get one. That one is going to be a right wing back.
  • Can’t understand the sudden panic we were not good today but still could have got something I can’t believe that now some think we need multiple signings and the squad is rubbish personally think we have a reasonable championship squad and will improve and be fine no need for panic buys quality additions always welcome

Does anyone know if Martin Sandgaard took his black box with him when he left, or did it get put in a cupboard somewhere?

Agreed - but we also need Knibbs to be that guy, he’s not had much game time so far, but we need him to show up in that role.

After failing to hang on for a point at Loftus Road, it’s hard to look beyond full societal collapse being next. Only a matter of time before we’re forced to resort to cannibalism.

Although we are cursed with singings from Ipswich in recent years, I’d be all over this on loan. Would cover wing back and also the TC role

I know its early days and don’t want to judge too soon but anyone else concerned we’ve spent 4.5M on a strike force, 2.5M on a midfield who can’t seem to break into the starting XI, 1M on a keeper who didn’t make the one save today we specifically brought him in for and a CB who is taking Chuks backroom role. Apter been the only solid player so far we’ve actually spent a fee on. Carey and Bell have looked very good for free transfers so fair play there but considering the hype and reviews we were getting for our business from not just our fans other clubs as well just can’t help to feel a bit underwhelmed especially when u look at someone like Galbraith who we wanted who has hit the ground running at Swansea

No cause these players are having to have their pre season in league matches ..there all good players and they will show it as we play games but they got to be picked first and kit left on the bench
Just remember the comments Godden was getting this time last season cause he scored 2 in first 14 did not turn out to bad in the end ..

We have looked very good in the first three games! You could never drop Sonny Carey the way he has started! That may now change.

I am still confident we will come good. We are finding our feet and with that still very much been in games. I do agree with the majority though where I think we need at least a couple of additions. I’m extremely worried about a Coventry replacement as he is pivotal to the way we play.

In the grand scheme of things £4.5m is peanuts for 2 strikers at this level. Think because we’ve gone up and spent a bit of  money (for us) people have got over excited. W

Ultimately the aim has to be to stay in the Championship this season - that’s a successful season imo. If we want a team that is going to be at the higher end of the table you would have to double what we’ve spent already and some.
