Lost 7-0 to Watford in the Professional Game Academy National League Cup yesterday
I'm not sure what sort of a side Watford put out, but in principle that was their tier 3 first team that the PGA side were playing, rather than their development side. The two remaining games will be against tier 4 opposition which will still be very challenging but should be less one-sided.
League cup prices have been announced and tickets are on sale: £8 adult, £5 over-65, £2 under-18. So the same price as a league game for concessions, or £1 more for full-price. If you have a women's season ticket the two League Cup games are included.

Looking at the current danish squad 2 of them play in England one for Spurs one for Everton the woman in the photo looks closer to the spurs player. But I maybe talking rubbish
Good signing that, this squad badly needs experience and she can hopefully fulfil a similar role to Kayleigh Barton previously. Looks like she fell out of favour towards the end of last season at Bristol City despite scoring 2 goals in her first 5 games and didn't start after December. The season before that though she got 9 WSL goals in 22 games which is incredible. Let's hope we get that version of her
Newcastle away tickets now on sale, if anyone fancies a day out in Gateshead. Currently only selling one block and quite a lot of it is taken by season tickets so best to buy quickly if you intend to go. Or perhaps they'll open the other half of the stand if they sell out.

Must admit I don’t understand the pricing at all! It says £21 adult in the actual article but when you click it is either £14 or £7 - and I assume the higher £14 price includes match ticket but why not say that?

Seems like the pricing may have confused the person who wrote the website article - if they're saying £21 they've presumably misread the pricing as being £14 for a pass with a match ticket being extra, rather than included?
I was wondering if we'd start to bring in some WSL loans, other teams around us have. Still time to get some more players in today, wouldn't mind a bit more experience in the midfield
Honestly we've had some rotten luck as a club on both sides of the game. Womens game we've been inches away from promotion for 3 seasons now, and just as they reform the game and make it richer, we're just losing our momentum and more Prem teams are cashing in on the popularity.
Men's side we slipped out of the Prem just as the money really hit, couldn't get back in, and then just as we're recovering 20 bloody years later we're having to compete with clubs suddenly absolutely awash with Hollywood money as well as clubs with parachute money
Not Millwall are quite an interesting one because the money is clearly there without any need to balance budgets to support a hugely expensive men's team as well. It's got a bit more of a 90s Blackburn feel to it, where a very rich person actually can buy an entirely new top squad in one or two transfer windows and seriously compete. When the new world record is £1.4m you can buy a brand new 11 and not even approach spending what top men's teams do on a backup keeper. I don't think it's good for the game, ultimately it will inflate prices and I think you'll see other teams' owners scale back before they seriously up the ante. We'll see
There's a fairly widespread view among the smaller clubs in the women's game that the Premier League telling its members to get serious about their women's teams is a mixed blessing. Great for the profile of the game, great to have so many of the world's best players here, but impossible to compete if you're not a club that sees a million quid as loose change. There's hardly any fully-independent clubs in the top 4 tiers now: Lionesses in WSL1, Durham in WSL2 and Gwalia at tier 3 are the only ones I can think of.

There is the added element of it weakening PSG - a big rival to Lyon, who are one of the other clubs owned by Kang.
You wouldn't have seen us or Durham promoted last season and dropping a cool million on a player
