Currently working on a hire for an offensive cyber security role. To say ethical hackers are ‘interesting’ characters is an understatement.1

Just had a delivery from Pepper Hill branch this morning and noticed they hadn’t taken money. The driver said there was a problem and they now have had to shut the petrol station as they can’t take money. Chaos in IT0

Cash is king.
We definitely can live without technology, it would just be a very different style of living. Less convenient.
Guess what, we always used to!1 -

Ah - just googled. I assumed the ethical bit applied to a hacker protesting against capitalism or environmental stuff.0

Going through Heathrow today was fine for me, the quickest I've ever got through it! BA did have their backup system when boarding the plane, and we pushed back 30mins late but still made it on time.0

From what I've seen though offshoring to India seems to be the preferred method currently rather than hire in country. Add on interest rates have been high, taxes on business plus no doubt IT budgets have been slashed due to Cloud costs and subscriptions rising year on year0 -

Don't make the mistake of thinking AI is a 'help tool'. As far as you can see it, that might be the case - but in the background, it's already replacing huge swathes of mostly entry and low level jobs.1 -
