Looking forward to this one. Feels like a place in the UK you have to visit once in your lifetime2

Hull away was the first cancelled game in COVID. The train company wouldn't give refunds because apparently we could go and enjoy Hull anyway.
It's okay, it's a modern town centre with cheap pubs. The walk to the ground is less okay. There's only one direct train home after the game so that will be nice and lively.0 -
I enjoyed my only previous visit to Hull City in 2016 (other than the result)0

The end of probably the worst week of football following Charlton.

I can assure you that will be two times too manyCroydon said:Looking forward to this one. Feels like a place in the UK you have to visit once in your lifetime4 -
Hull already had those flashy floodlights a decade ago, and did a big light show every time they scored...ElfsborgAddick said:killerandflash said:I enjoyed my only previous visit to Hull City in 2016 (other than the result)We'll have a few more there this time as well. That game could have ended up being about 9-0, a combination of Hull being on fire and us being absolutely dire. Some of us already did it in February 2013, and had to suffer a rail replacement coach to Doncaster with no toilet after spending a few hours in the Spoons

Spoons would have been good training though as it usually takes a few hours to walk to one of their toilets 🤷🏻♂️OhMyGodden said:Some of us already did it in February 2013, and had to suffer a rail replacement coach to Doncaster with no toilet after spending a few hours in the Spoons

My son went to both those games (he did all 46 league plus cup games that season). Some prick tried to steal his laptop out of his rucksack coming over some bridge after the game/ElfsborgAddick said:killerandflash said:I enjoyed my only previous visit to Hull City in 2016 (other than the result)We'll have a few more there this time as well. That game could have ended up being about 9-0, a combination of Hull being on fire and us being absolutely dire. I am also sure he had a ticket for the home end and they were not initially going to swap it. So he said ok i will sit in between the home fans then. Then common sense prevailed.0 -
