Oh look, it's been turned into "Arsenal Life" by one person again. The world is all against them, apparently.

    Embarrassing.
Remind me what the name of the thread is again.

Not sure how you'd talk about Charlton here, least not until next season.
Yawn. Calm down Mr Angry. You won, so you can stop the whining now - just like your manager.

Least I don't create posts about the club. Arsenal life was it?
Mate, you need to calm down. If this is what you're like when your team wins then you must be a proper whining kid when they lose.

And thanks for proving my point on that thread, which you've resurrected from all of 14 years ago.

Keep digging sunshine. This is funny.,

    Nice one, that's from 2008.

Although, yet again, you seem to be proving my point that, in general, Arsenal fans are TWATS. So thanks for that. It proves I'm consistent.

Dad supports them so always had an affinity. Obviously prefer Charlton and there's no doubt if they played each other who I would want to win.

Find it humorous the amount of people that can't stand them as well.

I didn't think he supported Charlton. Posts more about the gooners than us.

    Same here.

My old man bent over backwards to get me to support his beloved Arsenal and started taking me to Highbury during their 70/71 double winning season.

Then he dropped a right bollock, running late one Saturday, he gave up on getting to Highbury before half time, jumped off the train and took me to Charlton instead - just for a game.

And that was that! My love affair with Charlton was born.

But due to my dad, I do still have a soft spot for Arsenal.

My son can go one better though. Born and bred in Stockport, I thought I had no chance and assumed he would be Utd or City but he stayed loyal to family and is die hard Charlton. But due to me and his grandad, he also has a soft spot for Arsenal plus Stockport as they are his local team!

His northern mates think he is proper strange.

  • The Liverpool fan ref taking away a stonewall penalty there. Have to laugh.
The Liverpool fan ref who.............gave the penalty in the first place.
Liverpool Referee is in the VAR Room, rather than on the pitch?
Both Jared Gillett and Darren England are Liverpool fans. Ref and VAR.

Actually the England claim is just a nonsense edit on Wikipedia so probably isn't. Gillett 100% is though.
My old man, his brothers and sisters and their old man are all die hard Liverpool fans, and ever since that terrible offside call in that one Spurs v Liverpool game, they'd disagree with you on Darren England being a Liverpool fan. 😂

Anyway, I've got no clue what's going on here. Don't mind me!!!

Funnily enough, I have a similar situation with my dad except it's with Spurs not Arsenal. Except I don't support Spurs, I merely regard them as a fairly amusing soap opera of which I'm reasonably fond. (My best friend, my brothers and my gf's entire family are also Spurs, weirdly!)

Someone explain to me why Paqueta going down holding his face after getting a dig in the ribs isn’t deserving of a yellow card.

Like night follows day.  There was fuck all chance he was signing one as Parish hasn't delivered the signings he wanted and they've let one of their best go and they almost let their captain go who will now go on a free transfer at the end of the season or peanuts in January.

My old man supports Arsenal.  As does 99% of both sides of my maternal/paternal family.

I refer you to the 'My old man' song haha

Only caught the last half an hour but this Chelsea v Liverpool match has been pretty entertaining. Both teams going for the win. 1 all still only a couple of minutes left.

Leaving the technical area is a bookable offence in and of itself but usually gets ignored

Yeah I thought that was the case... I know referees should be consistent, and that's the easiest way to do so... But a bit of common sense, or slight adjustment to the rule surely?

i.e. Only book the Manager, if like the players he dives into the crowd.

Enjoyed that. Can't stand Chelsea but did like how much it meant for the young goalscorer Estevao. Never heard of him before but that's just cos I don't keep up with all these new players coming in. He  looks set to be a very good one though.

Lets be honest now, referees would have sent Arteta off 40-50 times by now if they had been sticking to that rule.

Haaland has now scored nine of City's 15 PL goals this season. Their second top scorer is Maxime Esteve with two goals. He plays for Burnley.
