    3-1 from a penalty. Before we play Coventry, Charlton need to watch this game when they get a chance. Watford have been opening up Coventry’s defence from the start though this is the first time they’ve scored from a clear-cut chance

    Tractor Boys take the lead against the Baggies.

    Jack Clarke, who I thought was Dipswich's best player midweek, with the goal after Albion's defence played around a bit too much in their own box and were punished.

    3-1 FT. Telling game from Charlton’s perspective given we go there shortly. When they went down to ten men Watford had to tighten up their defensive play and Coventry had no answer for it but the home teams efforts and play still meant that Watford were easily able to open them up at the back and basically create the only real chances in the second half. That’s our game plan in a nutshell.

    Played twice maybe? Came with some fanfare and quickly faded into nothingness once it was found out he was no better than any of the youngsters already at the club

    I'll be happy if stays like that.

    Wrexham have wasted some good chances.
    Hopefully it means their front line aren't too clinical.

    O'Brien effed it up for Wrexham early on. That was a big chance, but squandered due to some dithering.

    Coventry won't be caught by anyone, so all good if they win tonight.

    Wrexham have a lot of really good players and if they sort their defence out could make the play offs. They have strikers that score, unlike us.

    We have goal scorers everywhere though and don't have to rely on the strikers.

    But it would be nice once in a while ... 😉

    Moore looked unplayable last night, wonder if he’d fit into our attack.

    Edit, 6 foot 5 tall, 33 years old, probably not, and probably on a fair wedge at Wrexham.

    If this is the player Miles could be, then we’re talking.

    Wrexham four points from the top two in the last week, maybe their signings are settling in.

    Hopefully they'll be all over the place next Saturday?

    Interesting to know, but not sure if really gutting - He got released by Yeovil when they got relegated from the League One in 2015, went abroad to Norway briefly, and ended up back in the National League.

    Easy to scout him via. Wiki I know, but it wasn't until 2018 that something clicked for him in the EFL.

    They've only scored five goals more than us as well though, having played a game more.

    Its not that massive a margin between us and Wrexham.

    Given how late we got promoted to the Championship, there is no way we should be ahead of Birmingham and Wrexham - Its usually the Play-Off winners that struggle the most given how late they can start thinking about transfer business. Although that seems less of a case this year, with all three Play-Off winners currently in the top six of each Division.

    He wouldn't do the chasing that NJ demands from his forwards. We could be offered Harry Kane on a free & we'd turn him down because he wont charge around the pitch for 60 mins.
