    'A brilliant finish from Kanu'published at 15:29 GMT15:29 GMT

    Eastleigh 0-2 Walsall

    Matt Upson
Former England defender on BBC Two

It's a cracking finish. It's the first real time we've seen Daniel Kanu get any space and run. There was a back back between the centre-back and right-back for Eastleigh but take nothing away from the finish, he has to hit it early.

Evan Weir cushions the pass perfectly and it's a brilliant finish, high and into the net.

Kanu is getting a lot of praise from Pundits and Walsall manager in the post match interviews.

I imagine the dixon thing is more that he is viewed as a luxury player, undeniable ability but goes missing and thats not what you need in a relegation fight ala where crawley are now, I bet if they were mid table he would be getting way more playtime.

I'd dispute that he goes missing. Part of his game is pressing and he has scored goals on turnover like this. Have you seen him play? I was touting him before we even bought him (AKA)

Not a good FA Cup weekend for the league clubs of our loanees.

Wimbledon, Northampton, Stevenage, Crawley and Plymouth all knocked out.

    Kanu still flying the flag.

No midweek action for our league loanees. Tommy Reid's Sutton host Eastleigh and Toby Bower and Ollie Hobden will hope to feature for Fanrborough against Torquay. Both games are on Wednesday at 7:45

Toby Bower starts but Ollie Hobden isn't in the squad again. Tommy Reid playing for Sutton too

Ahadme started for Stevenage away at Reading last night. Missed an absolute sitter early on in the second half. Their fans aren't impressed with him judging by their Twitter

Dixon single handedly got a fleetwood man sent off, won 2 fouls that resulted in 2 yellows within 10 mins

Not much else to report other than the above. Asiimwe came on at HT for Wombles and seems to have played well despite them getting tonked 5-0 by a resurgent Posh. A Mitchell didn't play and Z Mitchell hasn't made the bench
  • Two games where I've seen Asiimwe on the bench, rather than start for Wimbledon?

Understandable last time out against Gateshead (?) but surprised he isn't back into the starting eleven

He has struggled defensively his last few appearances so I am guessing JJ decided to play a safer option but from the highlights his replacement seemed really poor today so I would guess he will be starting again soon
