Cracking young player who should be on the bench at least next time out. Offers a real threat.
  • He’ll be a starter by the end of the season.
    For us I hope.

But I fear it won't be too long before the big boys are waving their chequebook at him.

Really like the look of him.
Similar to Campbell but more of a football brain.

Very very bright and exciting. Just hope folks can be patient with him should he have a quieter game or two which will inevitably happen as a young attack minded player.

The through ball to Leaburn, I couldnt see TC doing that once in a thousand games.

He’s not coming for TC’s place but for Docherty’s. He’s good at both ends but is very good on the ball and can make things tick.

Maybe eventually but to put him in that role early on would be a lot on young shoulders. Give him the freedom of a more attacking role. Let him play his game and show his tricks to build his confidence then give him more responsibility

The kid comes on and roulettes their player, leaving him for dead, and in the same moment, with only a split second glance of what's ahead of him, lays a splitting and inch-perfect pass to TC with the outside of his boot. Fook me.

His biggest challenge is where is his best position for us and for him moving forward

    He turned 18 last April.
Sheesh what a guy, do any of us remember what we were like at eighteen and a half?
In four years time he will still be a young footballer.

He certainly lit up the Valley tonight.

His skill, balance, and bravery meant that he could do things in three touches that our other midfielders seemed to require 10 or so. It opened the game up and also stretched the pitch.

Sharp feet, thought-process and skill to execute.

Ridiculously good cameo. The touch, the control, and the ability to not just see the killer pass, but play it as well...and also prepared to do the hard work too.

If he's any good he needs to be bedded in gently, play a few games then put him back in the development squad.
If we're away from relegation worries later in the season bring him back in and see what happens,

90% of these youth players have a bit of a fanfare before playing for our first team and I see em and think more guff , this fella was a get out of your seat job and looked like he had a touch of quality about him .
Will watch him with interest , good potential shown in this cameo

He's absolute mustard - You can see it's effortless.

    Footballers brain right there.

He will become a mainstay and drive us forward or fund our next wave.

    Genuine quality I reckon.

Amazing that he has no age group international appearances. The FA needs to send scouts to look at him, or he will be playing for Sierra Leone (1st team).

yeah his first touch was outrageous for someone so young coming on at a crucial moment in a game like that

The boy does have a bit of stardust in his boots, doesn't he?
  • Needs to play a few games before we can make a judgement. Easy to go OTT after a brief cameo but need to see how he fares over 90 minutes.

Raised the energy levels when he came on and certainly has pace.

He looked comfortable and his impact certainly made a difference.  Keep him fit.  Our very own JRS.

Its easy to get carried away with a cameo performance, certainly when he is a relative unknown coming on late in the game. WBA in all probability didn't have much of a crib sheet on him and probably didn't expect him to come on. The real test will come when he starts a game and the opposition try and get a grip on him and Fuller doesn't have that element of running at a team with fresh legs at the end of a game.
That said I hope that those minutes we saw of him last night are the start of a very promising career. Apart from scoring goals nothing beats a bit of outrageous skill. Worth turning up just to him perform at the end of the game.
