We couldn't get near Boro physically or technically in the first half. Hackney and McGree looked untouchable.

Thought Fullah led the charge in changing that for the second half. He's always been technically gifted but he now looks bulkier too. Couple of times on the stream I did a double take thinking he was Tanto...

Got to remember not to put too much on his shoulders but it's time he got more minutes somewhere in the side.

This lad is class. Unlucky not to score today.

Would like to see him start at Birmingham given that performance

He's a surprisingly strong lad, and playing him with Campbell on the pitch, means that they cant focus all their energy on double marking one of our pacey players, and feel confident knowing that our attacking threat has been nullified.

However he equally looked a bit out of his depth at Wrexham which makes me cautious, and on showing today, and against West Brom looks better as an impact sub, rather than as someone who should be starting matches yet.

This lad is class, but young. Today he did wonders for our shape and threat. I'd be looking to get him starting soon, he did 45 today and looked absolutely fine against second in the table.
  • Him and Anderson bought speed, tenacity and crunch that was missing from our midfield in the first half.

Thought he looked class at some points and pony on others but he’s young so that’s understandable - the moments of quality are worth it thought, as no one else has anything to offer. I’d start him at Birmingham.

He's raw, but you can see his quality.  In a team lacking much quality on the ball, he definitely adds something to our play.

Playing him with Karoy helps too because it mean there’s some energy to get the ball back so the errors are less crucial. Should help with his confidence
  • Boro clearly identified him as a threat as they managed to mark him out of the game for the last 15-20 mins. Looked absolutely mustard though, has the natural ability to make the right decisions on when to run with the ball, when to pass etc. that chance he had if he would’ve put it away would’ve been unreal - completely self made chance.

yeah that was a great save from their keeper

  • He's a natural. The way he created that chance for himself, and make it look so easy, was unreal.
It at least gives us some hope for the future (if we don't sell him before Xmas)
