Fullah played well away at Birmingham and then was dropped out of the squad for weeks. He came off the bench against Bristol, plays well, and then he's dropped again. It's a strange one. Luton fans did warn us that NJ has his favourites but the whole thing with Luke Berry is out of control.
Scandalous how little we've used him. An absolute star for sure.

    Can you start Monday?
Unfortunately not ! I am too old for Championship footy.
My son on the other hand is available...
He is quick as anything, has brilliant control, goes past people for fun but crucially is very composed & has a football brain so can look up spot a pass and also has a wicked shot and scores lots of goals. Honestly when I see Campbell play I think Jesus my son is way better in every way.
He wasn't picked up by any academies and has been playing infrequently but honestly there must be so many players out there who never joined Academies who are very very good players. It breaks my heart knowing he will never get a chance.

No offense mate but potentially you are overrating your son because he is your son(rose tinted glasses and all).  Saying he is better than someone playing in the championship is a bit of a wild claim

You could also say he won us the point at Oxford as it was his cross that led to Jones being fouled.

Dropping him last game from the subs bench for Berry was completely unfathomable to me. And I expect most others. All that is except NJ.

I would like to see him more, but Jones clearly doesn't want to bring him on too much in games that we are going to be under the cosh. I am sure, if we can get that one more win, we will see him more. Jones clearly trusts his old guard. There is also the fact that the last player who came through with this kind of excitement, he is having to encourage the fans to actually support him. I am sure that we will see more of Fullah next season.

Think Jones winning POTY and Fullah deserving to being in the squad at the absolute minimum are the only 2 opinions all season are the only opinions every Charlton fan has agreed on which says a lot

Bit of a bizarre comment from NJ re not wanting to throw him in away, then admitting he did pretty well at both Wrexham and Birmingham away. A footballer just needs to play football, home and away.

Can we all agree this is the high water mark for Charlton fans being insane about Campbell? A fan suggesting their son, who was wanted by zero academies on the planet of earth, is better than Tyreece Campbell, Championship footballer, based on presumably a bit of Sunday League football and rose-tinted spectacles. Absolutely insane post.
He did say his son is Jesus, so it’s not impossible.

Struggled today. Gave the ball away twice when he had his back to goal and wasn’t strong enough, one of which led to a goal. Not ready to play centrally yet unfortunately but was better out wide

Caught in possession for their winner and did it a couple of times afterwards. He is the future possibly but shouldn’t be the present at the moment.

Can kind of see why jones has been reluctant to play him, bags of potential and ability for all to see but we can’t currently afford to be playing a young player who needs his confidence nurtured and allowed to make mistakes, which he made a couple of today - one of which really hurt us.

Not his fault we only had two defenders back for their goal. He has to be stronger but the rest of the team can’t be so open either. They went from the edge of their box to scoring in less than 10 seconds

Mixed bag today, two absolute shockers when caught in possession one leading to the goal but also the only player who looked like he could create a goal.

He definitely needs to hit the gym this summer

As usual a lot of our fans over rating our youth, he may eventually be very good, but again it was proved he isn’t ready. People are calling for him so start!, I’m sorry but why?, admittedly Carey has gone off the boil but Fullah is not the answer.

Didn't help him that Ramsay kept giving him the ball in areas where he didn't want it / was obvious he was not in the best position to receive it.

Ramsay didn’t fall over from an average challenge which led to a goal against, hopefully he learns from it, there are times to fall down and times to be strong our team get this wrong quite a lot.

Its a sign of how poor out midfield creativity is that he is called upon when we need something to happen

It's not even really the one that led to the goal that I'm worried about. That one happened at the edge of their penalty area - you're usually alright if you lose the ball there and don't allow the opposition to counter attack you.

The more problematic one was the one that almost led to 1-3. Fullah had moved to right wing back and Ramsay massively undercooked another pass to him and left him with no options on. He shouldn't be putting a 19 y/o in situations like that.

One of about 4 shit passes from Ramsay yesterday.

Fullah needs to play as the 10, and when we aren't chasing a game with the rest of the midfield completely at sea, then he'd have the protection around him and more room for error

For a manager with a track record of progressing youth, NJs management of Fullah this season has been poor. Used here, there with no theme.

Agree re him needing protection . He needs 2/3 of Coady / Coventry / Doc with him in the midfield.

Yes if he is to play, however at the moment I don’t think he needs nor should be playing. Can’t pin all his performance on Ramsay or anyone else other than NJ gambling on him.
