We’ve had about 10-15 cm settle here in Vendée in the west of France. I’ve been living in Vendée since 2010 and never seen more than a light dusting before, the last time of which being Christmas Day just gone.

Hope trains are fine going home.Still look fondly on the pre-contactless cash days where me and @DaveMehmet train got taken out of service at Hither Green in the snow. Though he had no wallet with him that day, if I was happy to buy him a pint he suggested we go to the pub for one to warm up. Five pints later he’s suggesting cabs to curry houses etc 🤣11

Have to "lol" at this. Evetyone getting all excited that some snow "settled" in parts of S.E. London, Kent & Surrey......whereas in Aberdeen it has snowed every day since the New Year & is a few feet deep.sam3110 said:

This will be the time I would just sleep. Can't stand snow that stays for longer than a couple of days. It's a pain and how they can deal with it in places like Aberdeen where it lasts for weeks I have no idea.1 -
