Hmmm, he was the only one prepared to run in behind on Saturday, and I think we missed his movement in the second halfChunes said:For the past two games, he seems uninterested in getting into the physical side of the game. Quite often just lets the defender have it rather than step across him.

A surprising decision to take Kelman off at HT. I can't imagine anyone in the stadium was expecting that change.0

I think he’s a lovely man but proper lame in getting stuck in putting it about , pussio2

Except when he smashed that Coventry centre half off the ball to set up the equaliseroohaahmortimer said:I think he’s a lovely man but proper lame in getting stuck in putting it about , pussio10 -
Wasn’t expecting it but it did make sense. He didn’t have a good first half and against 9 men there was never going to be any space in behind for him to run intokillerandflash said:A surprising decision to take Kelman off at HT. I can't imagine anyone in the stadium was expecting that change.2 -
He'll be very fresh for Tuesday though which will helpkillerandflash said:A surprising decision to take Kelman off at HT. I can't imagine anyone in the stadium was expecting that change.4 -
Thought he outmuscled Kitching at the time turned it was Brau who’s just come over from Spain and is a LB. Everyone and there nan knows English football is far more physical. Great goal scorer but u stick a proper big cb on him and he is rarely a handful only gotten the better of Helik so far this season.Rothko said:

Id like to see him get closer to leaburn/dykes for the knock ons, they must practice!
also, kaminski/others long balls seemed to be directed mostly to kelman instead of leaburn which i couldnt work out2 -
I imagine that he'll be disappointed though that he wasn't given 15 minutes to see if he could be effective against the 9 men.NabySarr said:

If this is a whoosh then fair one but if not, simply silly comment. Although you could be the same bloke behind the goal in the fans bar who said he was a waste of space earlier this season. Some of our lot really do make me laugh.oohaahmortimer said:I think he’s a lovely man but proper lame in getting stuck in putting it about , pussio0 -
He’s bottled too many challenges that were 60-40 to him, the worst was his quarter hearted attempt at Derby away when he was favourite3

I think it's a tactic for the midfield to win the second ball and attack if they do.
Agree would like to see more urgency to his pressing last few games0 -
Him and Leaburn were starting to build a decent understanding. Now it’s all change again and he looks back to little boy lost of the start of the season. A real shame when there were signs his goalscoring confidence was back. Not great man management by Jones imo.10

Was a bit lost at sea playing in a 3 yesterday. I still think he’s the type of player (like most goalscorers) who only gets better the better we play. At the moment we’ve been shit so he really hasn’t been very good.0
-
I mean it was just one game... I wouldn't be surprised if Jones is being a bit cautious in some areas now, and rotating a bit to try and ensure a there is a bit of freshness in everyone, the last thing we need is for Kelman etc. to be lost to injury again.Weegie Addick said:Him and Leaburn were starting to build a decent understanding. Don’t rate him to be honest0

No-one ever rates goalscoring strikers when we're bang out of form and not creating chances.cafcsinger said:Don’t rate him to be honest
Everytime Citeh lose or draw on Sky they throw up a touch map of Haaland and proclaim that he's shit and not in the game etc etc, they don't when he's only taken 7 touches in total but has a brace7 -
In Kelman's last 12 league starts (going back to Millwall at home) we've lost only 2. In the games he didn't start or was out injured, 7 defeats in 12.

Games he was out injured was the same game we lost Bell and Burke and had a fixture swing that wasn’t down to Kelman. He looks like a clinical forward but if he’s not getting chances he’s not offering anything else clearly just wrong type of player for what we needChris_from_Sidcup said:In Kelman's last 12 league starts (going back to Millwall at home) we've lost only 2. What type of forward would that be, how much would he cost and would that be within our budget? Richard Kone, who some thought we should have gone for instead of Kelman, has scored twice and had two assists in his last 22 Championship matches.Crispywood said:

In fact, looking at the QPR forum, many of the criticisms levelled at Kelman, about needing to play in a two, "useless at creating chances for himself" but, surprisingly for some I'm sure, "a complete lack of pace"

Should have kept Alfie and saved us 3 million quid.Crispywood said:

After he scored against Oxford he was the 2nd coming, apparently he is now shit again.7

And yet the stats show we're a better team and get better results when he starts.Crispywood said:

We've lost 2 games all season when Kelman starts. We've now lost 10 games when he hasn't.

Really don’t understand why we abandoned the Kelman and Leaburn partnership that was starting to look goodChris_from_Sidcup said:

Playing Dykes without anyone playing off him was a sin…..0

Dykes is the hind of striker Jones loves . I think that says a lot . Kelman and Leaburn should start every gameshine166 said:

Stats also say we win more with Macca (6/19) in the team than Edwards (2/7) but ur not gonna sit here and tell me Macca is a better player than EdwardChris_from_Sidcup said:
