My achy breaky heart is willing a 0-1 win, dont  care how we win just for once lets get the rub of the green and win.  In the windmills of my mind  just keep it respectable, 2-0.
    I hate Millwall.

A lot of people will disagree with me, but despite his flaws I would start Karoy Anderson. The reasons are he won’t give up, he takes the pain, he is a fan like us. If the overall scenario is one where some of our players go into their shell and avoid the ball, at least Anderson won’t do that.
Might as well play me then if the criteria for a place is a) won't give up b) will take the pain c) is a fan.

3-1 to the scum I reckon, unfortunately.

Take away the local rivalry etc and our form against them in particular, we're bang out of form and playing a team comfortably in the playoff positions, looking at the automatic places, I can't see past a loss

Thank god I am out for the day and can’t watch it.

This has the potential to turn very ugly. If we get the expected pasting, I can see the fans properly turning.

A point would be an absolute miracle. Fully expecting the worst given what a bunch of wimps we turn into whenever we play these gobshites.

I don't hold out any hope for this one. Usually I think we stand a chance but not tomorrow. Which hopefully means with little expectation the boys finally do it and beat them

Jones has said he hopes that Lloyd will be available Saturday, and was more of a precaution, its equally why I've left him completely off the teamsheet, otherwise I'd expect him to start in the back four, or even sticking with a back five, and my current line-up is a bit more extreme.
Worth noting that Millwall have scored just five more goals than us, whilst they've conceded one more than us, so would expect another tight game, the first goal is going to be so crucial, as cant see more than a 1-0 or 1-1
What a strange stat given the difference in our fortunes!

No point as they won't be allowed out early.

We're going to get battered and it's going to be horrible. See you there!

bring him on with 20 to go to protect our 3-0 lead and hopefully we can nick a point

    • Millwall are unbeaten across their last 13 league games against Charlton Athletic (W7 D6), since a 2-0 defeat in March 1996. They’ve conceded just eight goals in these 13 games, four of which came in the first match in the run (4-4 in December 2009).
    • Charlton Athletic have lost nine of their last 12 away league games against Millwall (W1 D2), losing their last three in succession. Their only victory during that time came with a 2-0 success in December 1995.
    • Having lost three of their first four home league games this season (W1), Millwall have now lost just one of their last 10 at the Den (W7 D2).
    • Charlton have won just one of their last 18 away London derbies in the Championship (D5 L12), conceding at least twice in each of their last six.
    • Charlton have won just two of their last 13 league games (D3 L8), with both victories in that run coming at home.

It’s park the bus time and hit them on the break. Think we will draw this time.

We need to start much quicker than the previous two games. Get in their faces and strangle the game. Keep it tight for 70/80 minutes then try nick a goal with Godden off the bench. My head says 4-0 to them, but I'm holding on to hope we can get something. There are no free hits in this league and we need to fight for every point available to us.

    Ahh, here we go again.

The home game was our best chance in a generation and we still ballsed it up...

4-0, and memories of the Christian daily game coming back to haunt

If we play 3-5-2 with gillesphey and TC on left we will get beat easy, if we play players in proper positions and try a formation that suits the squad we have then we will have a chance as I believe any team in the Championship can beat anyone on the day.

I think NJ has been treating this game with the importance many managers in the past haven’t
It is no more important than any other three points. Managers will not jeopardise their jobs by getting drawn into pathetic adolescent vendettas.
Thankyou Wolfgang but I’m not biting on that nonsense

I kind of agree with u - would be a dilemma for me as manager coz he’s the player next on the list after jones in our squad who doesn’t seem to care who the opposition are and just smashes into them, putting himself at risk, it’s Anderson - far from the perfect midfielder but big big bollox

Are we seriously desperate to chuck Chambers straight in tomorrow...the answer is probably 'Yes'

But note that it was only back on the 17th December he returned from a relatively long-term injury to play 30 minutes in a Liverpool U21 match. Since then he's played two games for Liverpool U21, but only managed 45 and 62 minutes respectively!

Look, its a body we needed in that position and might turn out to be a good addition, I do worry if we throw him in at the deep end tomorrow and start him that he'll be done around 60 minutes and not up to the levels of the Championship.

Anyone been on spanners online lately

Millwall Fan/Moody has done a full on a to z about us and our history proper proper nerd

And they call us spotters 😂 😂

In the words of Kevin Keegan…
I ain’t been on there for a while - too depressing atm - will wait til their inevitable collapse - also don’t want to be named in an on line investigation when moody does something horrible to himself - blokes a proper weirdo

The time is now. Jammy 2-1 win for the Addicks.

If only, but they will batter us 3-1.

With Zach back as cover, could Gough play 6 and Coventry 8?

But we desperately need pace in the middle. I'd give Karoy another chance with two outlets outside him.
He can't control the ball and he can't pass accurately. And his team mates know it.There were several times on Tuesday where he was free in the middle and Clarke or Ramsay decided not to pass to him. He is sadly a liability at this level.

Midfield is a huge problem. Even if the defence is made stronger, it will be under constant attack because our midfield cannot play offensively. Neither Karoy or Greg are good enough and Connor/Sonny have limitations.

We need a minimum of 2 new midfielder now, but it ain’t gonna happen.

We will get relegated if West Brom and Portsmouth find any form.

Karoy cannot control the ball, pass, dribble or be creative at this level - League 1 player.

To be honest was not over impressed with them
at the valley and we should have won  if not for a ridiculous challenge by Ramsey …. Let’s hope there hatred of the ref works in our favour like Linnington does for our opponents .. there no reason we can’t go there and get a result .. but Jones as to get the starting eleven right unlike the last two games … I am going for a 1-2 win for the reds only if jones gets it right .. this should be the line up tomorrow
    Kaminsky
     Clarke
    Burke
    Jones
    Ramsey
    Chambers
    Coventry
    Doc
    Carey
    Dykes
    Kelman
