Jayden Fevrier Signs On Loan from Stockport County
Charlton Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of Jayden Fevrier on loan from Stockport County.
The 22-year-old, who can operate as a winger and a wing-back, joins for the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign to become the Addicks’ fifth signing of the window following the arrivals of Harry Clarke, Lyndon Dykes, Luke Chambers and Tiernan Brooks.
Managing Director James Rodwell commented: "We’re delighted to bring Jayden to the club. He brings real pace and dribbling ability, and his versatility allows him to operate in a number of positions on both the left and right, areas where we were keen to add competition during this transfer window."
Manager Nathan Jones added: "We've been watching Jayden for a long time, and with wanting to freshen up certain areas, get cover and competition in certain areas, we feel that Jayden adds that. He had a wonderful season last year for Stockport. We feel he is a player that can play for us, he is versatile and can play on the left and on the right."
After putting pen to paper, Fevrier said: "The first time I went to [The Valley] I thought the stadium was massive and it opened my eyes into how big of a club Charlton is, so I'm looking forward to going back there and playing in front of the fans.
"The manager wants me to come in and play my game, take the ball up the pitch, excite people, be me and I'm excited as I have the opportunity to play in the Championship for a massive team."
Born in London, Fevrier joined West Ham United at the age of six and progressed through the Hammers’ academy to sign his first professional contract in 2021. In 2018, he went on to become the youngest-ever player to represent West Ham's reserves and represented England at U15 level.
The wideman signed for Colchester United in 2022 and spent two seasons in Essex, before signing for Stockport County in the summer of 2024.
Fevrier has featured for Stockport County 28 times in all competitions this season after playing a key role in last season's run to the Sky Bet League One play-offs.

Hard to get excited about another League One signing. Why didn’t we go for him over Tanto if he was so good?

Doesn’t mean we won’t though if we stay up I suppose.WattsTheMatter said:Rich Cawley: No option to buy.3 -
Why would a league one club loan out a player who had been playing regularly.....esp if there is no option to buy afterwards.
Doesn't make sense.18 -
Make it make sense... We signed a winger and just loaned him to League One, so that we could sign a winger on loan from League One.30

Been a wing-back in League Two but mostly playing right wing for Stockport it seems like.
Big jump up.0 -
The 3rd loan in this window and with Coady coming in make that 4WillmoreTheRed said:Happy with that but why a loan?

Welcome to the club Jayden1

That part is strange. Especially as they’re in the playoffs. Unless he wanted to move back down south.golfaddick said:Why would a league one club loan out a player who had been playing regularly.....esp if there is no option to buy afterwards.

Natural winger going off FM but comfortable at WB too, unlike TC, Hernandez and Apter.CL_Phantom said:I'm guessing he's a more defensive Rob Apter?
Flair 15 and a tries tricks player trait in FM, so don’t expect to see him actually play for us under Jones.20 -

GREAT .. I was thinking last night, he's the type we REALLY need, was hoping we'd sign him last summer (along with Mothersille)
Welcome Jayden, I sincerely hope that Nathan doesn't have you sitting on the bench for the rest of the season
Softens the blow re Apter going .. T b h, I would have preferred him to Apter in the summer, his lack of game time shows the strength of the Stockport squad i m o3 -
Would be a decent back up to Apter14

Wanted us to sign him in the summer to replace Small. Just what we’ve been asking for in a player that will take his man on5
-
I read it as Jayden from Kidbrooke 😉🙂3

Find it strange it's a loan with no option to buy but seems a decent signing. Good luck to the lad.2

He has spent most of the season on the bench there by the looks. Only started 7 games8

Did they sign the wrong player in the summer?
Desperation.1 -

Right winger but can play left wing and LWB apparently2

He’s going to play on the left though surely? Unless Chambers can get fit quickly and Harry Clarke moves inside to CB.NabySarr said:Wanted us to sign him in the summer to replace Small.
