Insane isn't it.DamoNorthStand said:He has spent most of the season on the bench there by the looks. Only started 7 games

Can play LWB apparently? Glad we've got another option in there.2
-
He gives us a ball carrier in the team, we lack that apart from TC, which is going to help us get up the pitch more

He's started 7 games this season in L1.

Has been kept out of Stockport’s starting line-up this season by a talent called Tayo Edun.49

He’s a decent player and played well against us last season. I’m guessing this is a ‘if you want Tanto, we want Jayden, otherwise forget it’. Interesting Cawley says no option to buy but wouldn’t surprise me if they swapped clubs in the summer anyway.4

Signings like this will not keep us in this division.15

Let’s hope he is the Small replacement at last. But this window feels so weird and with zero future planning and completely against Jones’s m/o of no loans1

I would hope that he plays RWB with Clarke RCB but would imagine to start with he'll be dovetailing with Chambers. The benefit is because he can apparently do both we sort of save a squad place. We now have Chambers, Fevrier, Clarke and Ramsay available to play WB with TC and Bell as emergency back ups. Probably means Hernandez is leaving tooThe Red Robin said:
He’s going to play on the left though surely? Unless Chambers can get fit quickly and Harry Clarke moves inside to CB.NabySarr said:Wanted us to sign him in the summer to replace Small. Just what we’ve been asking for in a player that will take his man onDesperately need some more creativity and flair in midfield, not least to free up Campbell (assume he goes back behind the forward) from being surrounded by three players every time he has the ball.2 -
Does he have a very hard shot?3

Natural winger going off FM but comfortable at WB too, unlike TC, Hernandez and Apter.CL_Phantom said:I'm guessing he's a more defensive Rob Apter?
Flair 15 and a tries tricks player trait in FM, so don’t expect to see him actually play for us under Jones.
I don't know whether to like, LOL or cry.4 -
Looking at his stats he’s featured in 21 games, but only got more than 59 mins in 4 games.DamoNorthStand said:He has spent most of the season on the bench there by the looks. Only started 7 games
Its all very strange10 -
Actually don't mind this but does feel like one we could have done in the summer. Gives us versatility but not sure how much he's going to start over Clarke and Chambers0

Another gamble3

Glad we've finally found the LWB solution - a right-footed unknown from League 1 who can't get into Stockport's starting 11.

Heat maps:
25/26, Stockport (L1), 7 starts (21 apps total)
24/25, Stockport (L1), 11 starts (25 apps total)
23/24, Colchester (L2), 40 starts (44 apps total)

If the cream of league one isn't doing it, what makes us think this fella will??2
-
Is he naturally 2-footed or is just the case that he can "play on the left" ?sam3110 said:Right winger but can play left wing and LWB apparently0 -
So we’ve signed a player who can’t even get a game in the league below. Even in the dark days under Parkinson weren’t this bad. Here’s hoping he kicks on.2

Or to get ahead for next season ☹️SELR_addicks said:0 -
What a strange transfer. A quick look on X and County fans don’t seem too disappointed. He also hasn’t been playing for them recently?? Might have that wrong1

That sounds sensible & a semblance of a plan. However we wait to see what our tactical genius of a manager does come Sat.fenaddick said:

Remember watching him last season and thinking he was the same type of player as Small. Why the hell didnt we just give Small more money rather then signing Apter who is nothing like the type of player Small or Fevrier are.8

With his ability to play left wing back, I would assume that Hernandez will be paying up his bar tab at the hotel. I think this is a very good move for Stockport, Tanto goes back under a manager who knows his strengths, I don’t know much about Jayden, still only 22 though, so if it works out then we could possibly make it permanent in the future.1

Big gamble by NJ
Imagine if Apter and Tanto fire Bolton and Stockport to promotion - and pass us as we go down.Wow.11
