Thanks for pointing me to that, not. What a load of bullshit. I hope people don’t actually pay to subscribe to that.
It’s not. I sit there and he acts like that. It winds me up that much that Im going to move to east stand.

Never liked him since Wycombe semi-final when a older fan caught the ball and threw it back to the Wycombe player for a throw (yes he should of held onto it as there was about 5 mins left) but it’s natural to just throw it back. Jones went absolutely mental swearing and screaming at them and it was way OTT. Needs to grow up and stop thinking he is better than everyone around him.

His biggest problem is that I genuinely think he thinks he is doing us a massive favour being our manager and we should be grateful every day for it.

Hope he keeps us up and will keep supporting him but I’ll never like him and won’t be sad when he does go.
I sit round there too. I think he's an absolute maniac and I often think that I would absolutely hate to work for him, but extrapolating his mad behaviour out into the players not liking him and that having an effect on our results is just pure supposition. Football is an insane business, management is generally a bunch of big kids who played a game for their whole lives suddenly being shunted into leadership roles and communicating the way they always have in the game, by shouting, screaming, finger pointing and blaming and then being best mates again right afterwards. You don't need a special insight to recognise that Jones is an absolute goblin on the touchline but he's been that way for his entire career, including with us the last two seasons where on both occasions he inspired vastly improved performances from the players. More than any other manager I've seen players go out of their way to come back to play for him again. You couldn't make me do it, but then I'm not a top footballer raised in an academy where this kind of behaviour was normalised. That video is just a bunch of people who don't know what goes on behind the scenes making huge leaps from perception to 'fact'. It's a terrible watching experience.

He's still in credit with me. Without him I think we would have been relegated to League Two and then the next season he got us promoted via a great day at Wembley, and a year ahead of schedule apparently. Yes he's made mistakes this season and yes he's set in his ways but I'm still backing him to keep us up this season and that's basically what most would have accepted at the start of the season. I'm not fussed if he's a nutjob, not fussed if his management skills upset some fans and players sensibilities. Crack on Nathan.
This. He may not be perfect but I can't believe all the abuse he gets. Remember the absolute shite managers we went through before him... Mickey Apples anyone?
  • Not that it means anything but onel Hernandez has replied to a comment on TikTok asking if NJ has lost the dressing room calling it “nonsense, not true”.

Don’t think he’s lost the dressing room because the players actually look like they’re still trying. The effort besides the Millwall game has been there big difference between playing to get the manager sacked and then just not having a good enough squad. Can put the recruitment blame on Jones but just having a few players he doesn’t fancy/fallen out w like Apter Tanto and Doc doesn’t mean he’s lost the other 20 players

No, It's people who are saying what they actually see and hear on Match days.
It's OK for some but not others, apparently.

He said unto them, "Why are you afraid, O ye of little faith?"

Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became totally calm.

Can’t believe he’s going to make half the fanbase look silly 2 years in a row. Will see all the Jones out-ers this time again next year when we’ve lost a few games

Well get used to it because he’s going nowhere😂
Think a few will be disappointed he seems to be steadying the ship based on a few comments yesterday.

Posted below on the post match.

I think we need to give Jones credit for the subs too. Leaburn was enforced obviously. But Leicester came out after halftime with a plan to get Fatawu and Mavididi on the ball and to run at us in wide areas. They were having some success and pushing our back line and midfield further and further back as we were scared of their pace. The changes to bring on TC and Fevrier to play out wide allowed us to double up on those 2 when they got the ball and basically removed that threat. We got a handle on the game and as Leicester tired they didn't have anything else to offer.

Fair play to him here for owning up to last week. Great response today!

That’s a good interview - shows a bit of humility as well as saying he “hurted” too after last week.

People calling him arrogant etc should see this. Complete humility and the right time to apologise tbh.
  • Jones in INN! There is no other manager out there that would be able to do what he has done with our club

Take a look at NJ’s post match interview today. There isn’t a manager anywhere that would have that passion for the club. He’s not perfect by any means, but I hope he sees out the full five years of his contract as we will be in a better place at the end of it.
At least the haters can now take a few days off.

Yeh fair play, talks a lot of sense in that interview. An emotional week for all of us for sure.

He knows they owed us after last week and that came across in the interview.
I hope he knows that we need more than one performance to make up for that debacle.
  • I've said it before and I'll say it again.
Jones gets things more right than wrong.
He's taken us from the despair of the Appleton fall out and lower L1 to where we are now.
100%. Still has plenty of credit in the bank for me. If he can keep us up without even spending a single day in the relegation zone then that’s a very successful season for us.

Yes Jones got it spot on today when he has the players we are very compact and tough to beat, always creating chances as well. The frustration recently has been the questionable team selections, substitutions and players out of position. We had a balanced first 11 today I think for the 1st time since Blackburn at home.

And you almost put the wrong right by the time you got to the end of the comment! Having balance in his side is key to how we play, more so than any other team that requires it.
