Ash and Will Ferry both start for Dundee tonight.2

Coventry is carrying an injury so it makes perfect sense for Coady to play CDM to give Coventry a rest.Laddick01 said:If Coady is genuinely a midfield signing that is a joke.We needed players able to get up and down with a bit of attacking quality. Coady is the exact opposite of that.
Plus he can then cover the next injured central defender which won't be far away.13 -
Genoa. Not in the biblical sense 🤭.fenaddick said:
Genoa are also after Krama at Millwall, Blackburn player seems more attainable for themForeverAddickted said:
Blackburn being linked doesnt surprise me, as saw one of their current Full-Backs is being linked with Genoafenaddick said:
Blackburn Rovers and Charlton Athletic are both monitoring the situation of Dundee United vice-captain Will Ferry ahead of the transfer deadline. There is also on-going interest from Major League Soccer, where Vancouver Whitecaps and Real Salt Lake are interested in the 25-year-old Irish midfielder.Rudders22 said:6 -
What’s his crossing like?Charlton_Stu said:Have heard a rumour from a mate, so it's probably shit but we're interested in Will Ferry from Dundee Utd.25 -
When Jones said tonight we may look to bring forward summer transfers to this January window if possible, I wondered if he means Bree? Then again, Bree played for Soton today.0
-
If our plan was to stay in this division and progress then I'm not sure how much the bring forward summer transfers holds weight, as in effect you'd always be looking to improve your squad with permanent players who are a level above what we have been shopping for, it would more read like we might spend a bit of that budget on a quick fix.0

Will Ferry starts for Dundee

Depends. Has he played for them yet?ForeverAddickted said:One "interesting" aspect about Ferry potentially joining, is the fact that we've just sold Maynard-Brewer to Dundee United, so wonder if that might help carry some weight for us...2 -

There was, in fact, a Woolwich ferry called the Will Crooks.0

Obviously it's only after one win and need to continue improving, but after yesterday, this months recruitment is looking a lot more positive than most thought.14

Can I just say I enjoy it when the 31st falls on a weekend, much more civilised to end at dinner time on the following Monday than late on the actual day.
Yes I am old.3 -
As long as there's no false complacency and we continue to make a few more changes. We've stopped the downward momentum (temporarily at least) but a few judicious tweaks could help us go from scrapping to surviving more comfortably.stoneroses19 said:Obviously it's only after one win and need to continue improving, but after yesterday, this months recruitment is looking a lot more positive than most thought.4 -

Are we expecting only one more in tomorrow? The Kenyan defender?0

3 according to a few on here and around.JamesU2002 said:Are we expecting only one more in tomorrow? The Kenyan defender?
Kenyan CB and 2 youngsters on loan, a West Ham midfielder and possibly a Chelsea player but no-one knows what position3 -
Chelsea loanee won't be David Fofana , looks like he's off to Auxerre on a permanent.4
-
Chelsea will probably recall them early anyway.1

Two at most I would say … think NJ realised his mistake regarding Doc who was excellent yesterday ..JamesU2002 said:Are we expecting only one more in tomorrow? The Kenyan defender?4 -
Jones comments about bringing forward our summer spend was interesting I thought. The Kenyan I guess (although much of that fee could be covered by Lookman moving I think).
Sometimes there is a bargain or two at the end of a window with clubs having to move on players before they go for free in the summer. Would be nice to be beneficiaries of that.14 -
The outs might be interesting too, Collins in means A Mitchell probably goes permanently, Doc probably isn't going anywhere after all but if a midfielder does come in maybe Anderson goes on loan to keep playing. Plus there's still the Mbick situation.2
-
Bringing forward summer targets makes me wonder if someone other than Colins that we didn't think would be available is now available and we're going to do it.8
-
Cawley’s latest article has more quotes from NJ about deadline day. Sounds like we’ve done the deals we needed to, so as mentioned they want to bring forward summer recruitment if possible.
Sichenje fits that, as he’ll likely need time to settle in. Hopefully we get 2/3 in. Wouldn’t be surprised if Sichenje isn’t the only one from abroad.

why?, are Swansea still short of players? The Red Robin said:Chelsea will probably recall them early anyway.1
