    Collins in.

Anderson and Gough out on loan.

    That’ll be it I reckon.
    Midfielder in as well.
Any idea whether loan or permanent, and British based or abroad?

I still think we need another central midfielder

Coady as a holding midfielder away from home may be a good play, but for the home games, it’s going to be on us to break teams down.  I’d like to see a bit more skill and athleticism in there

    No chance Gillesphey goes.
Agreed. I’d be amazed if he’s not here come Tuesday
    Rarely injured too

The only way Anderson goes out on loan is surely if another CM comes in?

Struggling to see why Plymouth would pay for Mitchell. They only have one other loan player and they can effectively tap him up for 6 months, doesn't make sense for them at all
Maybe another league 1 team is interested (or that’s what we are telling them)

2-3 in. Likely two on perms.
    2-3 out.
Plus maybe some kids like Enslin.

    Ed. Is my guess.

Coady, Coventry, Costello, Docherty, Carey, Berry, Fullah

We probably have enough numbers even without Anderson, would definitely like more quality though so hopefully we are looking at adding an 8/10 type player to cover both roles

    I’d love Charlie Savage!

Savage, Pye and a PL loan!

What a difference a day makes. Brilliant result yesterday, but I still think we could do with some reinforcements to give us the best chance of safety.

To me that means a left footed defender and an athletic midfielder. Although that seems unlikely in addition to Collins. I’m assuming Docherty will now stay. In terms of outgoings, a loan for Gough and maybe Anderson. I’d like to keep hold of Mbick; cashing in at this stage of the window doesn’t make sense.

Like most I didn’t anticipate that Coady would be used in midfield. That versatility is a huge benefit and clearly a reason why they have brought him in - Fevrier too. Let’s see what tomorrow brings!

I don’t think we’ll see too much of Sichenje this season one or two cameos unless of course we’re down to bare bones. I think he’s been brought in with a view for next season. I’m guessing it’ll be quite an adjustment he needs to make.

  • Hoping we take a look at Oliver Casey from Blackpool in the summer as potential cover at RCB - used in a back 3/5 there also. Out of contract in June. 2 good seasons in League One and formerly one Leeds’ books - and played with Carey & Apter (if he comes back).

Find Anderson an interesting conundrum, he needs more game time to improve but as much as he’s has bad games this season he’s also had good ones. The other thing is because of his age he won’t take up a squad place and because he’s an academy talent he’ll be on a much lower wage. In terms of squad building and having bodies around the building, loaning him out doesn’t make much sense. In terms of development it probably does.
I think Anderson could be a good water carrier for coady if we are playing him in midfield. Coady can’t run but can pass, Anderson can’t pass but can run.
Anderson has shown despite his great engine, he cannot read the game and is constantly found out of position, and we are usually exploited by this, especially in the champ.

In an ideal world we will pull away from the drop zone and then he can get plenty of game time towards the end of the season. Probably unlikely though

I agree with you, I think he is next seasons RCB, the remainder of this season is just about him adjusting to the championship so that when Ramsay likely leaves in the summer we have our replacement sorted

Don’t feel like there’s any reason to believe he won’t sign, but just for some extra breathe of relief, no Collins in the Vojvodina team today
Is that because he’s suspended? 🫤

We absolutely need a CM, would absolutely ruin what appears to actually be a pretty decent January window if we fail to sign one

Sichenje and a CDM/CM to come in.
Anderson, Gough +/- Fullah to leave on loan.

Only other 2 that could make sense moving on is Macca and Mbick but Macca probably depends on the sudden availability of another Left footed LCB coming from the heavens, and Mbick depend on Brighton whipping it out on the table
  • Deffo need x2 midfielders

I feel like we need to replace Knibbs now he is out for the season and to push Carey

If Carey is ever out of a game Berry isnt good enough for the level especially starting and Fullah isnt ready

All I have heard is that they want to bring in a midfielder. I haven’t heard any names. Wycombe are interested in Anderson. Wouldn’t be surprised if one or two others go out on loan. Also Plymouth interested in making Mitchell’s loan a permanent, Whether this all gets done tomorrow I have no idea.
  • So it turns out Coady was the midfield signing all along..?
Last Wednesday when I asked my “source” about a CM coming in, to my surprise they told me on  Coady will play there. Seems like it was always the plan and not just a one off for Leicester but time will tell. He's versatile which gives us options

What are you hearing for tomorrow?
  • Everyone seems to think it’s a done deal that Sichenje is signing but why not announce it ? I’m assuming therefore that currently it’s not in fact a done deal.
If their press is correct in that he's signed and will wear the number 4 shirt then we are probably waiting to officially announce that Mitchell has gone.

Unless i'm mistaken Mitchell is currently registered as our number 4 for this season and Sichenje couldn't wear 4 unless Mitchell permanently leaves.
