    I hate drums at football matches as much as I hate tv commentary these days. 

    Back in our first stint in the prem didnt we have a Trumpet & Trombone player to go with the drums and if my mind serves me correctly wasnt there two drummers ?

    We were having exactly the same discussion regarding where the "Rowdy" fans were that make the noise, sing the songs, and gee up the team.

    Their home end is at the other end. Very quiet, there's a real air of resignation about the place.

    Managers of teams going to grounds where the home fans had a reputation for being the 12th man would often be quoted as needing to shut them up, for good reason because it feeds back down to the players.

    If you get a noisy away end it usually tends to have the effect of shutting the home fans up unless the home team can get its arse in gear and trigger a response from their fans. The last thing the away fans should want to do is remind the home fans they are being quiet and trigger that same response. You’ve made them retreat into their shells without them realising it so don’t try and encourage them to wake up.

    Playing wise, they have a couple of things that will be a worry. Firstly the defence looks very pourous and secondly they don't seem to have a lot of striking options. Their wide attacking players are arguably the best in the league on the positive side.

    I agree weird atmosphere literally silent, I was also surprised at the amount of them that left at half time. 

    that being said fantastic support from Charlton I thought, proper away game, the locker room after was decent with the 20% off drinks with a match ticket. 

    all in all a decent ground, decent beer on draft and would definitely go back.

    That player of theirs on the right wing looked realty impressive and very dangerous every time he got the ball. On the plus side, fair play to our guys for not letting him get past them every time. No shame in that against a player that good.

    They never used to be like that at Filbert Street. I only reminisced with dad this week about the ''old days' when at 2:55, as the players came out, coins rained over us, through the chicken wire at the top of the fans divide. Happy times 😁

    it was the 80s I think so wonder if it was a nod to the Harry Enfield, 'Loadsamoney' sketch of Londoners with too much Dosh!

    Leicester won the Premier in 2016 and they are now on the big slide as the goal king Vardy has gone and the memories of Jamie and Mahrez are fading.

    They still have some individual talent but Cafc were lucky that Jordan James was missing and the fans can't be motivated as they now wallow in the bottom half of the Championship.
