    I'm no cricket expert, but I've never seen before a bowler walk in to bowl, come to a complete stop and then throw it at the batsman.

    There's nothing in the Laws of the game that means he cannot stop before delivering the ball. Players have done it in the past albeit not every delivery. As to the action itself, this would have been regularly checked by the ICC.

    Well he was working as a salesman in Dubai before trying his hand late in the day. He didn't make his professional debut until he was almost 26 so I would imagine that there are a lot of similarities between the two of you. How are your variations though?

    Yeah as long as his bowling action is consistent then it's fine to have that pause.
