Jones has signed a bloke who can't run and played him ahead of our best midfielder for a month for what I assume are motivational reasons. Hungry, Angry CC is going to be an important asset from here on out
Carey has been our best midfielder this season by a country mile?

    Poor game but good point.

3 shots all game I believe with 2 on target......one being the goal.

Good finish tbf but wonder what we could achieve if we started games actually trying to win them.

3 tough games coming up & cant see us getting much from any of them. Somehow we need to start winning again. Hopefully being at home means NJ wont set us up to defend all game. But who knows.
  • The positive thing about being in a relegation battle, is that the teams around you are equally bad and lose. Think Jones wants to draw our way to safety

My neighbours a West brom fan and he said he would be happy with a point when I bumped into him at 17.00, as I did. Sounds like we scrapped one.

Not sure how we got away with that, it was pony.

but I’ve seen enough now to know this team will stay up.

Another tough watch but a valuable point. Dykes touch and finish was sublime. Other than that......... Onto Wrexham at the valley. They are really bang in form but hey we are due a storming performance 😜

Still trying to work out how we got a point from that match. Well having said that, when you are in WBAs position that is what happens but it felt like we did what we could to give them confidence to win it. Fortunately they didn't have it in the end.

A must not lose and we didn’t but that was utterly abysmal.

West Brom by far the better team.

Fevrier was terrible, had a fridge on his back and 50p boots on.

    Sichenje is not ready.

Never want to see Leaburn and Dykes up front together again. Dykes is actually a quality player, very impressed by him.

It’s terrible and ugly football but looks like it will keep us up by the skin of our teeth. However I expect much much more and better football next season. Otherwise what’s the point.

Funny to be so annoyed after the result we prayed for but that performance was shocking. It’s a results business though. Goodnight.
Find that a bit harsh on Sichenje, thought he had a decent enough game. Made some good blocks, cleared some corners and sent a few decent balls on the ground. Far better than the other options on the bench
  • That could be a vital point. I should be really happy. But I'm not. I'm royally pissed off.

That first half performance was appalling. Just sit back and lump the ball forward. Not a clue as regards some proper attacking football.

Outplayed in the early part of the second half. We could easily have been 3-0 down when Dykes equalised completely and utterly out of the blue.

After that we rode our luck. That shot in the last minute that went just wide with Kaminski watching was a huge bit of luck.

Really not impressed with the whole evening. This anti-football is just so blooming depressing.

The first competitive match I’ve ever watched, at any level, and thought I couldn’t do worse.

The match may have been a draw, but football was the real loser this evening.

Performance wise post match it feels like a loss, we were so poor but a point on the road in the Championship is always welcome. Collins had a decent game and Fevrier made some intelligent moves, I like him. Dykes finish was fantastic. I will focus on that and try to blot out the rest!!

PWR, that was shocking, absolutely dire performance and daylight robbery to get a point from that - against an awful team

don't think the west brom fans had to even look up for fear of a goal other than the moment itself, we offered less than zero offensively

i said i'd happily take a point beforehand and therefore very happy with that and the table but good lord that was so bad in pretty much every respect

Bell had one of his worst games for us i thought, some poor passing use of possession

main positive for me was Sichenje who i thought looked solid enough

wrexham have kieffer moore who is a superb presence / aerial threat and we're probs gonna be without Jones - very tough on Sat

breathe out, onwards and upwards but come on, surely we can offer more than that

Also, I thought Coventry had a point to prove when he came on. Should definitely be starting next game.
He will with Coady not being able to play, surely?

We were terrible, should we stay up we're going to need big improvements in midfield and attacking wise for next season
  • It baffles me there could be 3 worse teams then us in this league

My god we are awful. We didn't lose a must not lose game and the goal was fairly nice on the eye and results went our way in other games but we were dire.

Out of interest does Fevrier have a weird running technique or does he need to lay off the fast food?
  • Abysmal game. Great point.

It’s weird because you usually suggest we’ll pick up loads of points

Well, a point won, but what a well worked goal by Dykes from and an even better weighted assist pass from Ramsay, also loved the way Fevrier ducked under the pass, nice stuff, also a huge shout out for those bloody marvelous away Addicks, never stopped signing all night, take a bow one and all...
And on to Saturday when the Hollywood road show rolls into The Valley, lets send them home with a bloody nose the pompous show boaters...

We barely put two or three passes together and hardly competed for the second ball. When we did it seemed to bounce to an Albion player. We made them look like like 70s Brazil at times. Very horrible game to watch but Dykes’s goal was exceptionally well taken and it’s a result we got although barely deserved. If we stay up and they go down then I wouldn’t mind us having a go for Mikey Johnston.

One and only thing that mattered tonight was not to lose and we did that. Not a great game to watch, but Jones has us playing in a way that is picking up points.

Strange to dig him out after he put a good shift in. Was far more involved than Coady.

10 games without a win for West Brom - looks a good point for us and poor point for them.

if we stay up, I think the midfield has to be the prority. The strikers are hard to judge when they get no service.
