Just watched the first half of a not-very-entertaining Wolves v Villa match.

The most interesting thing for me is that Wolves’ Mosquera has just been booked. There was a little bit of handbags and Mosquera is incensed because he doesn’t think he deserves a card.
The thing is, for the previous 10 minutes or so, he’d been diving all over the place, screaming in fake agony and holding his face after getting a brush on the chin, shamelessly trying to get the oppo booked, and quite honestly, I think the ref got fed up with it and I don’t blame him. It was fucking embarrassing.
I really don’t know why football commentators and pundits don’t rip into the snide antics these elite players get up to more often. It’s a blight on the game and the players who do it should be openly ridiculed and humiliated for it. Apart from anything else, it’s cheating.
I honestly don’t know how they’re not ashamed to go out in public.

Konsa having to be pulled away from swearing at the travelling Villa fans. Tried to go back as well. That won't go down well

Am I the only person that really struggles to understand what the hell Unai Emery is trying to say when he's interviewed?

No. He talks so fast it’s basically gibberish.

I didn’t realise that Konsa had been wearing the captain’s armband for Villa recently. Captain of the team third in the Premier League, impressive stuff.
  • It will be disastrous for Villa with their PSR issues if they miss out on a CL spot again.
  • What a blow for Burnley today!!

Showing my ignorance here maybe but why is there a break in the game? For what exactly and how long?

They’ve done it for a few years in the PL. Our KO times won’t have clashed with the time to break fast so wouldn’t have happened in our games

Semenyo has to be up there for player of the season,  considering what he's done at 2 clubs. And the way he gave 100% at Bournemouth,  right until his final minute there.

Remember when they said they'd brought in VAR only for overturning "clear and obvious" errors?

Tell that to Ashley Barnes at Burnley.

Apparently them and Chelsea (no surprise) are the next two that will fail the PSR.

Feel like it will become normal soon for a couple of clubs to start the season on minus points.

It won’t because PSR rules are changing

Spurs going down would be one of the best things to ever happen in football.

Only 1 of them can drop. Spurs is funnier.

Fulham should be out of sight here but spurs pull back to 2-1 and looking likely to turn this around

Thing is you can watch that over and over and over again and it’s still not definitive that it actually hit his arm. If it takes three, four, five minutes to decide then it isn’t a clear and obvious error is it. To think from next season they will be using VAR for corners and second yellows.

Totally outclassed today.  Fulham really should be out of sight.

But last week Kolo Muani was penalised for a foul on a CB leading to a goal so then how the fuck was Fulham's first goal today not ruled out for the same thing.

Refereeing is at its absolute lowest at the moment, zero consistency from one week to the next.
