A lot of people keep saying "Spurs won't go down" but what exactly are you basing this on?

It can only be because of their 'name' and because they're a big club, because it can't be based on their performances (awful) or even their remaining fixtures (pretty tough). They also have a dreadful manager and a ton of injuries.

In the form guide over the past:

5 games - Spurs are bottom with 0 points
    10 games - bottom with 3 points
15 games - second bottom with 10 points
20 games - second bottom with 12 points
25 games - third bottom with 20 points.

They have won just two of their last 20 games.
They have only two home wins all season, and one was on the opening day.
    No home wins since December.
No wins in 11 games, which included a draw at Burnley thanks to a last minute equaliser and a defeat at home to West ham.
feels similar to when West Ham went down with Joe Cole, Defoe, Rio, Carrick and a few others. Would be equally as great fingers crossed
oh it'll be better than that (if it happens)

Agree, can't honestly see WH or Spurs going down.

If they think they are too big to go down, that will be their demise, fans fighting each other after the Palarse 3-1 loss last night, not looking great at the moment...

Leeds or Forest will go down with Wolves and Burnley, Spurs and West Ham will get out of it.
Leeds play all of their relegation rivals including Wolves and Burnley. If they don’t squeak enough points out of their remaining fixtures then they deserve to get relegated

Depends how soon they can get players back from injury plus their argualy best player is suspended too. Their current available players is fairly weak. Forest and West Ham have better starting 11s
  • They'll sack Tudor if they lose to Liverpool, I'd not be surprised if he has gone before then though.

In the state they are in why they brought him in is anybody's guess.
This. Looks to me that the players have already decided they don't like Tudor and won't play for him.

One more defeat and he's gone.

Be fantastic if we could get spurs down at the valley, next year for a sell out under the lights, and at their gaff as they will still get 50,000+ in the championship, 🙏make it happen

They should replace him with Stuart.
Might end up losing his head though.

I don't think they would play for anyone. As a collective they've completely given up and don't care, Ferguson in his prime probably couldn't get a performance out of them right now.

We will impose a new ‘platinum’ match category if they do and exploit it fully 😆

I think they’re gonna go. Tough run-in and pretty toxic there at the moment. Other teams around them are picking up results.

I don't really watch PL games anymore and haven't seen Spurs play all season - so I watched the Palace game and realised, not only are they devoid of any real quality, but the players had the look of "well my agent will get me a move whatever happens to this club". I don't think there's anywhere near enough fight in that team. I don't know much about the others, but I find it hard to believe Forest and West Ham are as fucked as that Spurs squad is.

On top of that, every team that plays Spurs will want to help relegate them just for how funny it will be. Just like everyone wanted to stop them winning the PL in the Leicester season.

They are away to Chelsea in their penultimate game of the season, I have Chelsea mates who are rubbing their hands at the thought of relegating them.
Spurs have a record against them that makes ours against the spanners look impressive.
    Come on Chelsea!

Spurs or Palace to go down would love it.

Remember last time Spurs played in old division 2, we beat them 4-1 Flanagan hat trick in front of 30,000 fans.
That was 75/76 season,50 years on could it happen again?
    Can't see Flanagan playing again.

He'd probably still be more prolific than some of our strikers.

Got a couple of mates who support Spurs, one has already messaged me and said lets meet for a beer before our game next season😂 he's fairly resigned to them being relegated

Convinced they won’t go down, they’ll beat Forest - it’s because I’m desperate for them to get relegated, it would be hilarious. Have even agreed with the gods that West Ham can stay up just to relegate Spurs, however, as with Everton a few seasons ago, it’ll be Forest that drop with Burnley & Wolves

Looking at the form - I cannot understand anyone that thinks that Spurs won’t get relegated. They are in absolute free fall and showing zero spirit for the fight.

Nearly the same as me, one is a real good lad but the other one is an arrogant POS .
Will make the effort to find the POS should they be relegated, and make my feelings known

Had a chat with my good mate Norms today, long suffering spurs fan. Quite phlegmatic about it. 'We're shit, been shit all season and sacking Frank hasnt helped, even Gallagher has looked disinterested, deserve to go down, look forward to coming to Charlton v Spurs next year with you, will sit in the charlton end, be more fun'

Other mate 'what you doing looking ag the prem table for, you'll never get there, we're too good to gown down, won't be seeing you next year.' Chippy prick Nin, dad of one of my sons's cricket team, gonna be a wonderful cricket season if they go down 😀
  • If Spurs did go down, does that mean as a Championship club they wouldn't be offered entry to any future European Super League?

I was pretty sure Spurs wouldn't go down until recently. Now they seem to have just as much chance as Forest and West Ham. They still have to play Leeds and Forest and it may come down to those games.
