Lovely footwork from Leaburn!!0
-
Leaburn comes forward, gets stuck on the right wing. It's a bit messy over there, but we get a cross in, although there's no-one really there.0

Commentator doesn’t.DDOUBLEE said:Anyone know how tall Leaburn is???2 -
Can't beat smash for dinner.cantersaddick said:Evening all. 5 mins late as been working late but got dinner on my lap and settled in to enjoy the best smash and grab of the season!2 -
We have a reasonably sized following posting on this forum, and it is inevitable that people are going to have difference on opinions on most things the football club does.TheHerminator said:

if He’d played Lloyd tonight and he got booked he’d be roundly slagged off for rising him. Same with Bell and his dodgy hamstring.
It’s not an our fanbase thing, and it’s not even a football fanbase thing.

Is Tracey still on here, perhaps she knows..CaptainRobbo said:Leaburn is 6ft 8 according to commentator.
Is he still growing?2 -
Oooh opened up for Doc, tried to slide a ball into the box instead of cracking off a shot1
-
Match going to plan, and we are looking to defend deep as we should expect, whilst breaking when available, but we are still looking ok early doors0
-
Nice passing move, Doc, Cov, Kelman. Doc tries to play Leaburn in when he might have had a shot from distance.0
-
Actually playing quite well!3

We are doing alright! Space in midfield and good passing2
-
Decent move, but Doc has to shoot there.1
-
Yeah Doc had the space to fire off a shot then2
-
Now down the other end, Strelec blazes over.0
-
Nathan looking the happier of the two gaffers0
-
My point was that if he’d done one thing or the other, the same people would have reacted to it. As in he can’t win.FishCostaFortune said:

Jones better start this XI against Oxford.10

Or a much better passForeverAddickted said:Yeah Doc had the space to fire off a shot then1 -
Middlesbrough are reminding me a bit of Southampton at the momentThey're a lovely passing side, but they're just a bit too slow on the ball which is allowing us to get organised.2

Disagree, think our press is slowing them downForeverAddickted said:Middlesbrough are reminding me a bit of Southampton at the momentThey're a lovely passing side, but they're just a bit too slow on the ball which is allowing us to get organised.1 -
Boro down our right, cut inside but overhit the pass so it's out for a goal kick.0
-
For the majority yes but I reckon there’s one or two on here who actually want Boro to win.vff said:MillwallFan said:oohaahmortimer said:For the greater good , give Boro this one .
Sorry to interrupt a match day thread, but I have a vested interest in this game.DOUCHER said:
100% agreedoohaahmortimer said:For the greater good , give Boro this one .So am I reading this correctly here, there’s fans on here who would be happy to lose tonight (maybe even WANT a loss) so it screws Millwall? No Charlton supporters ever want to lose. Oxford the more important game. That's a more important line up. I am ok with the line up, as long as the score is kept down.Millwall is always a minor consideration and not that important. Also, when has Millwall ever helped Charlton with one of their results ? Like rarely to never. The fact that Middlesborough gets 3 points further to automatic promotion, and Millwall closer to get stuck in the play offs, is just a bonus.Anyway, don’t want to take the thread off subject. Come on you addicks!!4 -
He's actually the more likely of our central midfielders to shoot from there, certainly more than Coventry, Coady, Anderson and Costello this season.boggzy said:
You just knew he wouldn't shoot!sam3110 said:Oooh opened up for Doc, tried to slide a ball into the box instead of cracking off a shot
Surprisingly good start tho.
He's scored a couple of long range belters in his time with us2 -
Boro down our right, try to cut inside, Doc intercepts. We go up the right via Kelman, but end up getting pushed back to Mannion.0
-
Just jumped on here seen the team & obviously as others have said, looking ahead to Oxford. Just hope not too many of the faithful travelled up hoping to see a battling performance. Sorry I'm sure that it will be battling but a lot of quality is sitting on the bench e.g. our back three

Nice from Kelman to use his strength to leaver Ayling out the wayShame the ball wouldn't settle as it pretty much slowed his ability to break behind them1

I take it that was actually a joke @FishCostaFortune0 -
Boro down our left, great tackle by Macca to block Whittaker.0
