NJ might be the only one that would pick Bree over Clarke.

Hopefully Southampton keep Bree and we can sign Clarke permanently.

Bree is a great championship wingback... Clarke is better and is perfect for a Nathan Jones team, if Ipswich don't go up I think they'll want him as a squad player/will cost a big fee

Overall I thought Bree was no more than a little better than average for us. He felt like a loan player, Clarke doesn't.
Would love to sign Clarke or both but would be slightly disappointed if we only got Bree.

I much prefer Clarke. He's twice the athlete that Bree is. He's a stronger defender and that bullet throw... Wow. He offers us width and balance and he gets up and down the line all day.

The most attractive thing about Bree was his set pieces and by the end they were pretty bad. Strangely, our corners seem to have improved since he left.

Bree is a wingback and better getting forward but Clarke is a better all round player.  He is more of a traditional fullback but allows Carey more freedom to push forward in front of him

I see it more the other way around, Clarke looks quicker and more powerful to me, gets up and down the pitch well and even into the box, just a shame he’s not taken one or two of the good chances he’s had.

Bree had his moments getting forward, but I’d like more pace and energy out there than he offers.

Can’t find it anywhere but someone said Clarke reminds them of Danny Mills. Mills is at the Kassam to watch his son Stanley but primarily to learn a thing or two from Clarkey
