Weird for such a late change to be made for illness.

It does leave us a bit short of attacking options on the bench
Not if he’s just been as sick as a dog 🤮
    Hopefully it's nothing infectious.
  • I'd say not ideal just because of Dykes' experience, seems to always know where to be to get the most out of the long balls. But Miles has been playing well - hopefully he turns up in a big way today
I imagine Miles will have to play the full 90 unless he physically spent, as there are no obvious replacements on the bench in that target man role.
I'd still give him a breather once we're four goals up

We’d have played him if it was, knock out their back line for a couple of games
  • Why when Sky put a Charlton related pundit on their coverage do we have to have Darren effing Ambrose?

Dykes pulls out, Leaburn starts. Zach Mitchell on the bench.
Zach's grandad passed away on Wednesday.

"Charlton had the lowest wage bill in the Championship"
    According to the Sky commentator.

There was me thinking we pushed the boat out and several million was paid out on Kelman and Knibbs etc and pushed Cafc up to 22nd in the wage bill ?

Bit messy in midfield, we have a throw on the left.

Ball up the left for Leaburn to run on to, back to TC, then Bell, and we have another throw

Bit of a balls up from Bell there and we concede another throw.

Sloppy throw in from us, Donley needs to learn to stay on his feet

TC bundles over his man up on the left, and Oxford have a free kick.

Dykes absence now means we are very light on the bench attacking wise, where is luke berry?

We leave the ball for it to run back to Mannion, it;s a bit slower than expected so he has to run out from his box to hoof it
