    A wonderfully poor first half.

Let's have more of the same, please.

Not that we are showing much attacking ability but I have to say this game is there for the taking.

Completely fine with the way the match is panning out at the moment, reckon three points are there for the taking though.

    Missing Dykes obviously, but comfortable.

Need far more from Carey, Leaburn and Campbell second half. Oxford dominating them but same at other end.

What’s the Oxford game plan here? Are they playing for a draw? If not they’ll have to come out and attack more at some point which might create some space for us.

We get corners...like its a positive thing...I honestly cannot remember when we last scored from a corner!

I think we need JRC on in the middle. Doc not been bad but someone who can carry the ball in CM will make a difference. Currently they can double up on our wide players and Carey.

Pretty poor half. Look like we only want a draw when the game is very winnable. TC seems disinterested, but with only Kelman on the bench I suspect he will play most of the match. The midfield is busy and our defence looks ok, as long as we don't make errors.

I think JRC will be on afrer an hour, probably for Doc, and maybe Fullah for Carey. Also Kelman for TC, and then see how it goes.

    Please be positive!

    COYA!

  • Oxford only watering the end they will be attacking at half time. Are they going to start shooting from range and hoping the ball will skim across the surface ?

We've had the better of it so far, but first goal is crucial. Be more than happy with a 0-0.

If I had been watching The Dog and Duck vs The Lamb and Flag on Hackney Marshes I'd have been pissed off with that lack of quality. Christ! that turgid shite was served up by 2 Championship sides.

Yes again, the footballing equivalent of a cry wank.

Absolutely criminal to have that much possession and the number of set plays we have had and not have a single shot.

My only hope is Oxford come out and attack it a bit more and we surrender possession and play on the counter.

Needs a shake up imo. Carey not in the game at all.

Solid enough defensively, nothing going on up top, TC on the left just isn't happening at all

0-0 we don’t look like scoring not creating anything .even through we got into good positions . feel bit sorry for Leaburn lone man … time for subs Fav Fullah and Kelman … I expected more from Oxford to be fair

If it stays like this we will have got 7 points from 3 games and not lost to Oxford which is a pretty fantastic return. This game is there for the taking but if it ends like this we can be happy

Charlton have a job to do - and they’re doing it.
    100% this.

People expecting this to be anything but a scrappy game with limited chances haven’t been paying attention this season
I haven’t paid attention all season- it’s better for my mental health

Match is boring as hell but a draw would be a reasonable result. Would be good if next seasons' Championship had oxford, Lincoln, Stockport in it.

We have absolutely no cutting edge against a team sitting back I would bring Fullah on for TC and tell him to drive forward every time he gets the ball

Take off Chambers- move TC back- and bring on Kelman IMO.

The pressure is on them. A draw keeps us comfortably ahead. Poor game but on balance we've been the better team, suits me.

Not sure what the staunch defenders of TC are seeing today to justify the continued defence of his play. He’s had space to run into and lost it or passed back every time. The he was doubled up and got a corner was his highlight!!! When/ if he does something good I’m sure it will be mentioned.
  • Happy its 0-0 but honestly Oxford are crap. If we only had some half decent attackers on the pitch we would win this game comfortably. Appreciate Dykes is ill but Leaburn and Campbell offering absolutely nothing so far. Their ball control is abysmal.
Need Upgrades for both of them next season.

If we're going to bring Fullah or Fevrier on, we need to leave TC out there
The problem, as its been all season, is the fact that he's our one man out there with pace so is easy to double mark - Its no coincidence that teams have struggled to deal with TC and Fullah when they've both been on, because they cant sacrifice four players to deal with the threat.
