Especially after spending £400m or whatever it was.

    Spurs v Forest.

    Whoever loses that gets relegated.

Huge pressure on Slot for Wednesday’s Champions League game now after he rested Salah, Ekitike, Konate and Kerkez. Does he play Ngumoha who was the best player on the pitch in red? Lose that game and I think he’s virtually sacked in the summer

Villa, Chelsea, Everton and Sunderland were the only ones to lose in the Pl this weekend with Arsenal and Man Utd the ones with significant wins - the former to virtually secure the title and the latter to give them distance in the pursuit of CL places.

That said, United should be in that position given all they've spent AND the fact that, by the time they get to play Leeds on 13th April, they will have had just 33 matches in all competitions since the start of the season which was some 35 weeks before.

    Liverpool are pony.

I wish CAFC were that Pony and 6th in the Premier after winning the title the season before 😄

Tudor will get a contract for next season now that he has won a point !

It was good to watch a match as a neutral where both teams were trying to attack and both defences relied on the strikers to miss !

1-1 and could have been 4-4

I just do not get why Tudor has done what so many managers do when they have a host of injuries. They do have a dozen players out but who does he think he's fooling by not filling the bench and having two keepers too? Perhaps he thinks that he might have to sub two of them in this game but why not give another couple of youngsters to sample what it's like to be part of the first team match day squad?
Sunderland away 1st game of the season and few years ago we did the same.
Can only think the manager is telling the owners he needs more players
Not much they can do about it now though is there.

Pretty all the championship fans are doing it  (and it is not like our fans to feel left out), and they're one of the six, so hope that clears up your Real Madrid point

100%. They've been awful this season.

A lot have been questioning Slot but he hasn't been helped at all by Salah's form dropping off a cliff and most of their summer signings being a disaster.

Isak - started the season unfit and then got injured
    Wirtz - hasn't really settled
    Frimpong - always injured
Kerkez - nothing like his Bournemouth performances
    Leoni - injured
    Ekitike - the only success

Slot will obviously get the blame but personally i think the owners need to bear some of the blame. If they bought Ekitike, why did they even need to spend 125m on Isak? Or just buy Isak and don't bother with Ekitike. Should've used that money to buy a replacement for Luis Diaz. Could've got Semenyo for 60m. They've missed Diaz a lot as Gakpo just doesn't offer the same output from that left side. And then to top it off they waited and waited and left the signing of Guehi until deadline day when they should've got it done far sooner and given Palace time to get a replacement. They spent over 400m and somehow managed to leave the team short in two key areas.

Chelsea given a first-team one-year transfer ban suspended for two years so no immediate impact. However, they have been fined £10.75m and received a nine-moth academy transfer following investigation into illegal payments between 2011 and 2018.

Chelsea being Chelsea and getting away with it again. Fines mean nothing to them. I hate that club with a passion.

Normally I'd agree but this was under the previous ownership and the new ones reported it straight away. Maybe a retrospective punishment on those years might have been fair though

As you live in West ham land in Essex with Danny Dyer one side of you and that large lass from Romford from some reality programme the other neighbour. Wouldn't you rather the hammers drop so you can have the shorter journey to the Olympic stadium with your big family oohaah 🤔

And the new ownership are selling assets to themselves to get around profit and sustainability rules. They're just a scummy club.

I want Spurs and West Ham to both go down and down and down to non league , hate em both and all their fans , well all clubs and all fans, it's not exclusive to them but don't like the excitement that's flying about over a cnut of a club like spurs.
Give me a filthy northern outpost and 500 loyal weirdos over the lets get on the beer and gear local new ground day trippers.
Little known fact about 12 years ago I was runner up in the school parents obstacle race , the headmistress took the names of the parents who were first, second and third and I got a silver sticker for my troubles , she knew who I was and commiserated with me for second place and she didn't know who the winner was so asked his name , Danny Dyer came the response, he's 7 years younger than me, that's my excuse .

The Premier League released a short statement saying

    ”Do what you want mate”

The Combined Counties League is too good for them.

    Such an awful non punishment.

Paying bribes to get the best players and the punishment is a fine?!

    Which they'll then appeal.

    And win.

And be awarded damages for the shame and embarrassment of being charged in the first place.

I hate top-flight football now (and lower down the pyramid isn't much better ... no wonder from this time of year I concentrate on Australian Rules instead of round-ball stuff).

Is it a new ground  ?  I mean, it's still on White Hart Lane and all they've done is nicked a bit of land to extend it a bit iirc.

Yes its bigger & brighter than the old stadium but so is The Valley from when we left in 1985.

They knocked the whole thing down and built a new one?  Just because it's in the same place it doesn't mean it's not a new stadium.

Whereas we've been more 'Trigger's Broom about The Valley so it's more the same stadium as we've always been in.

It’s based on something Brian Clough said young man 😉
