It has been confirmed that the man in charge of a Spurs side that has lost all four out of four during his tenure, in which they've conceded 14 goals, is going to be doing the press conference on Friday in advance of their game against Liverpool.

    The definition of madness...........
Agreed but i suspect that apart from them not really knowing where to turn to for their next interim manager, there isn't much point getting someone in at 1-2 days notice for a game they'll likely lose anyway.

I'm pretty sure Liverpool will be his last game and there will be a new man in charge for the 2nd leg with Atletico and the huge game next Sunday with Forest.

Ainsworth must be in danger at Gillingham - 2 wins in 9, and thumped 5-1 at home by MK Dons last night.
Lost 5-0 yesterday, so have now shipped 10 goals in a week.

In a fairly random move, Ashley Cole is taking over at Serie B side Cesena until the end of the season, his first managerial job.

Good luck to him, longer he's there the less he may be a pundit over here.

He's been working with the England U21s for a while hasn't he? (In a Coaching setup)
So not too surprising that he's stepping into a Managerial role, just where he's gone to that makes it a bit random

I think it’s quite a smart move. He’s taking over a team virtually no one in England will know anything about, who are in their second season up in Serie B and are clinging onto a play off spot. For him it’s a relatively low pressure environment to see if he actually enjoys management or would rather be a coach. Big language barrier though, only one player in the squad from an English speaking nation

would say he was England's only world class player from 2000-2010

It's carnage at the bottom of league 1 this season.  Very exciting to see it unfolding tbf.

I'm really enjoying watching L1 on the EFL highlights show, now we're no longer in it  :)

League One strugglers Rotherham United have appointed former Huddersfield Town and Birmingham City boss Lee Clark on a deal until the end of the season.

Andy Carroll has taken over as caretaker manager at National League South club Dagenham & Redbridge.

The former England striker has stepped into the role after manager Lee Bradbury was sacked eight months into the job following the 3-2 win at Farnborough on Tuesday evening.

A random appointment,  seeing that he's done nothing for several years.

Seems weird to see Rotherham on the verge of relegation to L2, after all those years as a yoyo Championship/ L1 club.

Who would have thought that a head case like Andy Carroll would eventually be a manager but then again someone hired Joey Barton

Rosenoir will be gone soon enough you'd imagine. They're a complete mess

Tudor will be sacked now after today's fantastic result.
Whoever comes in will no doubt be on a jaw dropping bonus to keep them up.

I imagine Tudor will get a massive bonus from Arsenal for the great job he's done.

2 weeks to find a replacement but ideally they’d want one in the next 7 days or so

I think possibly the most damaging result of their season was drawing at Anfield last week. Had they got thumped, Tudor would have been gone and they'd have had someone less inept in charge for today's crucial game.

Spurs look like Newcastle when they went down with Alan Shearer as caretaker manager - bunch of players who know they won't be there next season and don't care about Spurs enough to fight for survival.

I like Dyche, so hoping he doesn't go there. Is Christian Gross still knocking around?!

You’d suspect it would have some break clauses in it.

Be easier to list which Managers they're not paying anymore... Ranieri perhaps... Maybe Hoddle at a push?

He won’t need a ticket this time. Can just tap in on his phone.
