I still don’t want a water meter but am now being bombarded by texts from them asking me to call them. This has been going on for months. I’ve just ignored them.
Now they’ve started calling me and leaving messages asking me to call them.
Can they make me have a meter?

This is actually making me really anxious. If Mr Tatters deals with it he’ll just tell them to fuck off which will probably make them more determined
Have continued to ignore them but got a letter today saying I must book an appointment in the next 14 days. It’s my last chance to get a water meter (I don’t want one). It doesn’t say what will happen if I don’t make an appointment. It’s making me even more anxious than usual. Mr Tatters says they can just fuck off.

I've been getting letters like this for the past couple of years and just ignore them.

yes water meters are best for single people, saved me a lot when I moved into a house with a water meter.
there are 2 of us and our bills went down with a water meter and I like a soak in the bath

As I have said before our bill went down a third with a meter. Just the 2 of us now but a nice saving.

I estimate I save about £6 a year by taking a shit in the underground car park at Thames Water's Reading HQ twice a month

I don’t get readings regularly, 3 in 1 month saying by deduction I’ve used a million gallons since the reading on Monday then nothing for months. Neighbour says Im paying a lot more than them, Thames Water agreed to change the meter then cancelled last year. Shambles
