He's clearly had a better League season going by his stats... Helped too being part of a better team as a whole... But the last two times I've seen Mason-Clark (tonight and for Jamaica), he has looked no better than Campbell4
-
Still means in my eyes we win and we stay up. Lose and I think we are likely to drop.
I think it is must win with that context taken in to account.
Biggest league game for years.7 -
Beat Wednesday tomorrow and I can’t see Blackburn overtaking us. We have marginally better goal difference than them so they’d need four points from their last two games to go above us.3
-
So Blackburn get a draw from what most would say was their most difficult remaining game.1
-
Oxford’s maximum points total = 56
Blackburn’s maximum points total = 55
The maximum number of points needed to stay up reduces from 57 to 56.6 -
Just need to focus on ourselves, a win will go part of the way to achieving what we set out for at the beginning of the season3
-
That is what the majority of us are focusing on, rather than shitting ourselves when a rival does somethingAberystwythAddick said:Just need to focus on ourselves, a win will go part of the way to achieving what we set out for at the beginning of the season8 -
Nothing has changed it’s about what we do, the teams below us are there for a reason, they aren’t all going to win all of the games they play, keep calm and carry on.4
-
but it's fun?ForeverAddickted said:

No one is exactly shitting the bed though, they are commenting that we really need to win tomorrow and that things are tightening up and getting uncomfortable at the bottom
Once again there appears to be more people on the forum shitting the bed about a perceived thought of others shitting the bed. 🤣17 -

What does that mean though? You seriously think that you can be participate in a league and only look at our own results? We’re on the fringes of a relegation dog fight, but we mustn’t pay any attention to what happens to our rivals?AberystwythAddick said:Just need to focus on ourselves, a win will go part of the way to achieving what we set out for at the beginning of the season3 -
Fuck me can’t win on here can you. Whatever you put someone will have something to say about it.Uboat said:ForeverAddickted said:

obviously it’s up to NJ and the team to control the controllables, performances, and results. At the same time we should be wary of what others are doing because it will alter what we will actually need to stay up.Blackburn drawing gives us a chance to pull away from them ever so slightly which we need. But to do that we must perform ourselves.1 -
If you’re that sensitive maybe just think stuff instead of writing it and pressing ‘post comment’.AberystwythAddick said:

1-1 Matty Svenson wasn’t it?2 -

They all don't need to win all their games to go above us.Sword65pf said:Nothing has changed it’s about what we do, the teams below us are there for a reason, they aren’t all going to win all of the games they play, keep calm and carry on.
Oxford need 5 points - a win and 2 draws or 2 wins.
Pompey need 1 point - a solitary draw will do
Blackburn just need to lose less heavily than us.
WBA need just 1 win. 2 wins if they are deducted 3 points.
The GD between all the teams around us is virtually the same. If we got beat by 3 goals by Ipswich things could look very smelly.2 -
So.......today it would be best if Pompey beat Leicester and hope we do better than Oxford and WBA? Someone please put me out of my misery, I can't stop shitting myself........1
-
Which would be wiped out if we lost our last 3 games, so if they got 3 points that would probably be enough to go above us.Callumcafc said:Beat Wednesday tomorrow and I can’t see Blackburn overtaking us. If we win and Oxford lose there’s 8 points in it with 3 games left. For today, those are the 2 key fixtures as it practically secures safety if they go as we hope.CharltonManor1966 said:So.......today it would be best if Pompey beat Leicester and hope we do better than Oxford and WBA? The other results that would be handy are a Pompey draw, and WBA loss.5 -
Oxford will get something today. Think they will beat Derby tbh.0
-
Pompey and Leicester draw , Oxford and WBA lose I think is the dream scenario.
Fancy Oxford to sneak a point though.1 -
You are assuming we pick up 0pts, and yet everyone is suddenly better, your pessimism is too much sometimes.golfaddick said:

West Brom to win Oxford draw and Pompey win I think0

What makes people think Oxford are nailed on to get something away at Derby?0

They’ve been picking up results fairly consistently the past months. Something seems to have clicked and they will have a bit of belief going into the run in. Derby obviously still have play offs to fight for so it should be and interesting game with both teams going all outSword65pf said:What makes people think Oxford are nailed on to get something away at Derby?2 -
Hoping Pompey Leceister draw, a win today for us and Leicester physically can’t catch whilst also extending our gap on Pompey. Oxford lose and they need to win all 3 games against Wrexham Wednesday and Millwall to jump us1
