If we win then an Oxford loss and a Pompey win would be perfect for us.6

Derby have a few injuries by the looks of it. Obviously Agyemang is out long long term , Bobby Clark out for the rest of the season , no Zetterstrom in goal for them either. Type of game I could easily see Oxford getting something.0

Says draw at best to me, which isn’t the worst result.AberystwythAddick said:
They’ve been picking up results fairly consistently the past months. Something seems to have clicked and they will have a bit of belief going into the run in. Derby obviously still have play offs to fight for so it should be and interesting game with both teams going all outSword65pf said:What makes people think Oxford are nailed on to get something away at Derby?0 -
So just to get this right, we aren’t getting anymore points this season?Crispywood said:Hoping Pompey Leceister draw, a win today for us and Leicester physically can’t catch whilst also extending our gap on Pompey. Oxford lose and they need to win all 3 games against Wrexham Wednesday and Millwall to jump us2 -
Depends on what we do, but yes a draw wouldn’t be the worstSword65pf said:

Never said that but even if we were to lose all of Ipswich hull and Swansea all the chances are incredibly likelySword65pf said:

We win and a Pompey draw would be better because it takes 2 points off Portsmouth and Leceister can’t catch us regardless whether they win or draw if we winAthletico Charlton said:If we win then an Oxford loss and a Pompey win would be perfect for us.3 -
The most important result today is Pompey beating Leicester no matter what we do . that would put them down as far as we are concerned 99.9% ……. Blackburn only have two games left Sheff Utd away and interesting Leicester at home final game .. personally I love Oxford to stay up cause they will be bottom 3/4 again next season3

Equal on form with Derby over the last 6 too. Oxford have done that via draws whereas Derby have won 3, lost 3. Will be an interesting oneAberystwythAddick said:

No shame there.2 -
Derby won last 5 at home so you know what’s happening5

Everyone else is already doing better, from the teams below us its only Leicester that are in worse form than us.Sword65pf said:

They all don't need to win all their games to go above us.Sword65pf said:Nothing has changed it’s about what we do, the teams below us are there for a reason, they aren’t all going to win all of the games they play, keep calm and carry on.
Oxford need 5 points - a win and 2 draws or 2 wins.
Pompey need 1 point - a solitary draw will do
Blackburn just need to lose less heavily than us.
WBA need just 1 win. 2 wins if they are deducted 3 points.
The GD between all the teams around us is virtually the same. If we got beat by 3 goals by Ipswich things could look very smelly.0 -
Except losing to millsmall 😉superclive98 said:

We win Leicester draw, they can’t overtake us whilst keeping Pompey below us as well. But to be honest the best outcome of that game can completely change depending what happens for the rest of the season.RonnieMoore said:The most important result today is Pompey beating Leicester no matter what we do . that would put them down as far as we are concerned 99.9% ……. I was going to say, the way we lost to each of these teams left a lot of shamesouthamptonaddick said:

And yet we also got a draw against all 3. In fact, none of the current top 6 did/can do the double over us.AberystwythAddick said:

Coventry away wasn't that bad. The defeats against the other two were horrendous.AberystwythAddick said:

As a fanbase we’re so worried that we expect Pompey and Leicester to both find a way to win today.13
-
I don't know why people want a Pompey win, which would send them above us before we kick off.
We want as many teams below us as possible- its quite conceivable that we wont pick up many more points this season.
A Pompey win could mean that we ultimately go down with Leicester & Sheff Wed.6 -
Oxford won’t win
we won’t lose
pompey won’t win if Leicester don’t lose
Leicester won’t win if Pompey don’t lose
WBA won’t win

An Oxford win would mean we'll be kicking off 3 points above the drop zone.

Draw wouldn't be bad between Pompey and Leicester, if not a Leicester win as cant see them recovering enough to be a problem for us - Although at the moment, wouldn't hurt if they go into their final game of the season needing a win over BlackburnThe good thing is that like us at the moment, Leicester are better away from home... Just one defeat in their last seven away from the King Power, however those six games all ended in a draw. Hope last week was a bit of an anomaly for the top half of the table, with only Southampton picking up a win. Could do with Derby defeating Oxford today, more than anything.1

Thought Oxford were at home for some reason. Think they will get a point against Derby tbh.O-Randy-Hunt said:Oxford will get something today. Think they will beat Derby tbh.0 -
And if they don’t we are above them with a game in hand and one less game to catch usEr_Be_Ab_Pl_Wo_Wo_Ch said:An Oxford win would mean we'll be kicking off 3 points above the drop zone.3 -
We win today, it doesn't matter what anyone else does7
-
A nothingish draw between Pompey and Leicester, "marred" by a mass brawl at the end of the game, with 5 red cards, and both teams deducted 3 points as a punishment.
Not too much to hope for.8 -
Don't ya just love all this relegation drama, so much better than mid table mediocrity...🙄6
