Thinking of you as you come to terms with the loss of a beloved member of your family.

    Sleep tight, precious Giaccomo.

Yesterday, we had to take the difficult decision to let  Giaccomo go, five days short of his ninth birthday!
He had a tumour growing on his neck which was causing him difficulty breathing and swallowing. The vet said the chances of operating successfully were very small, so we took the difficulty decision.
He was a true friend, protector and clown.
    Good bye my big boy!

So sorry for the loss of your lovely boy Giaccomo, Very difficult decision but the right one made.

A beautiful dog, take consolation that your loved one is in no more pain and suffering.

Well,  it is with much disgust that I tell you our cute little kittens Kit Kat and Milo, along with their Mum Lilly have turned into the most sadistic blood thirsty killers.

We used to get the odd dead mouse left for us, occasionally a headless one which is freaky in itself, a couple of dead pigeons, a pheasant but now they've taken to surgically dismembering the mice, literally separating the organs.  Its a lot to deal with first thing in the morning.  My 7 year old who decided she was going to be a vegetarian because of her love of animals about 3 months ago is absolutely traumatised after discovering one.

Anyhow, the little fuckers have upped the ante this morning.  One of them brought in a bloody wild rabbit this morning!  Thankfully, it was in one piece, that would have been horrific.

@Carter - I think it was you that said just you wait! <facepalm>

    Good luck to your daughter.
If she makes no other personal decisions in her life she has made one that will help the planet a little bit.
Here is a picture of Arnold the over the road cat (kitten actually) who visits me regularly, sitting on my neighbours front wall.
In the background is lookalike feral Harry who I am on feeding duties for two weeks until my neighbours return.

Our two brought a live mouse in the other day. Hadn't realised how loud a mouse could be! Poor little thing was squeeking his head off (understandably) but didn't make it easy for us to rescue him. Wasn't as loud as the wife though, who literally jumped up on a chair, screaming and crying when it ran past her.

That fish head would set her off worse than the mouse. She has to cover her eyes whenever they're doing a fish course on Master Chef!

They have half a pigs head as a treat on occasions, the eyeballs do make a popping noise as they bite them (as seen on I’m a celebrity) 😉
all they leave is the teeth 😂😂😂

    Alright Rob.
Got a working cocker spaniel (11 this year). Hasn’t been shitting too well for some time.
Always fed him a combination of Royal Canin gastrointestinal cans and cooked chicken.

Have now started making my own dog food. Combination of these simple recipes

    https://www.mybestfrienddogcare.co.uk/healthy-dog-food-recipes/

    Very impressive results.
He jets off around Danson Park like releasing a blown up balloon.
And before anyone comments, you find me a dog owner who doesn’t take an interest in what there dog unloads and I will find you a liar.

We've got a ginger cat that seems to think we're running a B&B. He pops in for meals and I suspect possibly also at night, the cheeky sod!.

We had another bunny left in the kitchen for us this morning.
Bloody heartbroken our cats are doing this now.

Catching a rabbit is no mean feat, I presume they're juvenile?

I just hope they aren't getting into a neighbours place

We've had wild rabbits in our garden since we moved in last July.  Until now, the cats have left them well alone.

I haven't mentioned that Lilly attempted to kidnap one of the ducks from the lake next door, have I?

My neighbour has been away so I have been on the duty of feeding grizzled skittish, raspy voiced feral Harry.
He turns up expectantly, and has learned to trust me enough to come into my hallway, demanding a comb and food. This was yesterday morning.
