Yeah I think that’s a good point re TC going off. We lost any balance and flexibility in being able to attack via either flank and became overly dependent on Fevrier or lumping it to Dykes who had no support.

I think what you've said elsewhere, about Carey being the ideal Campbell replacement if we'd changed it for anyone - But then he's been so far off the boil himself of late

This is a typical Charlton reaction, sign a new player and he is the greatest thing since sliced bread, based on about 3 games, six months down the line he’s considered rubbish and everybody’s scape goat, think I’ll reserve judgement until I’ve seen a bit more of him.

Couldn’t help but laugh first half when we had a free kick and he just randomly booted it about a thousand yards crossfield for no apparent reason:-)

He's not close to being as good as Rufus

Didn’t say he was. Early days but his recovery and athleticism remind me of him. Long way to go but he seems to have the tools.

No sign of him in training videos or referred to by NJ as an injured player that is returning. 

Anybody know more?

It's certainly a worry, been injured a lot.since joining in January.  

Did he travel to the training camp in Slovenia?

He did

That’s good. Can’t be anything too serious in that case, presumably we just didn’t want to risk him in a full contact match with Maribor.

He was injured at the end of the season I think which is why he missed the Swansea game

That was ages ago - months back. Didn’t know it was even that bad
