West Brom get TWO points deducted (page 8)
Comments

Can West Brom please have 10 points deducted today11
-
I think Oxford are due a points deduction too.10
-
And Portsmouth just to be sure0
-
Can we also throw Millwall into the points deduction mix, please?7
-
Yes.Rylo said:Can we also throw Millwall into the points deduction mix, please?
I suggest 40 points.7 -
2 points deduction for the Baggies
Now level with us and have Ipswich at home tomorrow and then Sheffield Wednesday away the following Saturday5 -
What’s the R number now0
-
And then there was 3
Charlton
WBA
Oxford
Scratch that, Oxford won't catch up the goal difference3 -
So we need a 6-0 Ipswich win and then Sheff Weds to get their first home win of the season, right?5
-
Easy get out for the EFL.
Doesn't really affect the Baggies.11 -

They've won their last 2 games, so I think it's a bit cheap to just focus on their off-field punishment.
The table looks a little healthier than 15 minutes ago, though.2 -
Shame it wasn't 3 points to take them below us. Instead it is a number meaning that they realistically.wont finish below us but will.be sufficiently motivated to play hard v Ipswich and let Millwall in if they nick something.3
-
Unless they get absolutely destroyed in their last 2 games it shouldn’t affect us0

2 points lost how the hell is it so low ?????1
-
I think the biggest plus is for Millwall - and feebly, for us. West Brom's game against Ipswich tomorrow is no longer a dead rubber for them - they'll now want to get something. Millwall still having a shot at 2nd place on the final day is an insurance policy we might need to call upon.5
-
Just another way the EFL have found to help Millwall get promoted.1
-
Because they wasn't that much over the cap unlike Leicester.RonnieMoore said:2 points lost how the hell is it so low ?????0 -
I bet they don't appeal if they stay up. Bet you.aliwibble said:2 -

Seeing a team joint with us on points helps ease the pain from our free fall since Middlesbrough!siblers said:

I read somewhere that it all depends on how much they breached the limit. 2 points is the minimum and I think 4 points was the max. There are also mitigating circumstances taken into account such as if the losses were reducing......which I believe they were.RonnieMoore said:2 points lost how the hell is it so low ?????
2 was what I was expecting. 3 would have been nice. It was never going to be 4.1 -

Because that's the formal EFL sanction linked to the value of their overspend. Thought you would have known that, Col.3 -
We lose both 1-0, Oxford win both 1-0 and that’s a swing of four. They’d go above us in that scenario.CaptainRobbo said:And then there was 3

And they could have been below us if WE JUST SCORED MORE THAN A SINGLE GOAL EVERY GAME.
But I keep get being told its clean sheets you should worry about, not goals scored.
And guess what.....they have conceded more than us this season.4 -

I would think he was likely referring to Oxford not making up the GD with WBA1 -
They won’t need to if we don’t pick up a point.bobmunro said:LargeAddick said:

West Brom now not technically safe so have something to play for tomorrow v Ipswich so could work massively in our favourRylo said:Can we also throw Millwall into the points deduction mix, please?2 -
No change then 🤷♂️ us and Oxford aren't going to start banging in a load of goals and can't see west brom getting thumped either.
