A good days' play for our lads, methinks.

Very impressed with Bang  Bang Taylor !

Now to hide behind the sofa.

Kent are opening with Cohen and Crawley. Wonder which one will face the first ball and be expected to take a single off the final ball of the first over!!!

Cohen is using a bat with no maker's sticker. Clearly sticking his hand up to open is a very crude attempt to gain a sponsor. He successfully negotiates the first over.

Crawley successfully takes a single off the first ball of the second over and should Cohen now get out, that will be the end of play.

I would say Gloucestershire were on the way to have a good day but good that we kept them to that total. Still 300 to many runs for my liking they got.

Today St Lawrence & HC play Bexley in the Kent Premier League. Two of SLHC's players have represented the Kent 1st XI - Darren Stevens and Oliver Curtiss with the small matter of almost 30 years in age difference between the two players.

A couple of seasons ago, the two were batting together for SLHC in a game against Bickley and one of them was run out for failing to make their ground in taking a second run. And it wasn't the then 48 year-old who was the one heading back to the pavilion! Stevens went on to make a chanceless 114* off 140 balls to win the game for SLHC with just over three overs to spare.

Benjamin looking like a great find now, TBH Kent have a done well last few years picking players out of 2nds teams and then go on to do well for Kent

308/8 at stumps, just 17 behind. Benjamin will get the plaudits but what a signing Dudgeon is proving to be. Vital lower order runs

watching the match on youtube. I didnt see that it was stumps then all of a sudden the stream cuts and loads up to the 1989 title decider between Liverpool and Arsenal.. same thing happened yesterday when the stream ended.
