Gomez played 6 games this season and has one year left on his contract. He either goes this summer or waits for a free next.
If he goes this summer I doubt they get much more than £15-20M sadly. We will still get a bit but not the budget boosting amount it would have been 3-4yrs ago.

Name I had mentioned to me was Ziyad Larkeche, QPR left wing back that was on loan in the Scottish prem last season.
Spent most of this season out with a knee injury so sounds right up our street.18 -

I suspect there will be enough teams similarly affected that it doesn't go through. Yes I highly doubt it goes through. It would give the parachute teams an even larger advantage than they have now, as their revenues dwarf even the largest championship teams just from those parachutesthenewbie said:

I think it’s likely something like this does come in future, but they’ve got to sort out the parachute payment imbalance first1 -
