Best film villain voices

M Emmett Walsh in Blood Simple. Quietly sinster.
Mieko Harada as Kaede in Ran could go from Trumpian nutter to screaming psycho in one scene.

The huge bloke in the cell with the Eddie Murphy character in Trading Places who just threateningly repeats ’yeah’. Best voice ever in any film imo.

Oh, and what makes this scene even more special is that you see the actor who later played Gus Fring in Breaking Bad.

James Earl Jones - nobody else near imho
Young actor Jamie Campbell Bower is definitely one to watch. Vecna in Stranger Things will be a launch pad but that voice and tonality could be terrifying if matched with the right dark/villainous characters. From a versatility perspective, Andy Serkis is right up there, though not sure he has done enough ‘villainous’ roles quite yet. What I love about his vocal performances is that he uses everything in his vocal range to create his character voice and unlike the incredible James Earl Jones, it is not obvious that it is him eg Gollum, Caesar, Snoke etc.0 -
