Yeah think Australia will win the jury vote quite comfortably , it's just if Delta gets enough of the televote to get over the line Vs Finland.

Bulgaria seems to be the dark horse in the odds

Took my wife to see Delta @ Shepherds Bush in 2024, really enjoy her work so hope that she wins.

Bulgarias entry looks like a porn actress, complete with something that looks suspiciously similar to a sizeable strap on.

(To be clear, Im listening to The Wedding Present on Youtube)

‘Er indoors has got it on but I’ve avoided most of it including our song apparently. I assume it will get the usual nil points or not a lot more

Why is the UK still bothering with this farce/shitshow?

Wife and son are watching it and I looked up long enough to see our song.

What in the actual fuck was that all about? Embarrassing.

I always love the totally unrealistic idea that we rock up one year with Oasis or Coldplay. We would still lose to a one armed lesbian in a wheelchair from Romania but would be funny none the less.

Don't remember the Lithuania song but if it's somehow worse than ours so be it

I'd rather watch Charlton. Extreme I know, but this is the most pointless event ever created. Shit music, political votes.

It was the weird silver guy who looked like of those living mannequin statues you get on the high street.

Normally watch but been out all night. Can see why Bulgaria won, typical Eurovision song. Nice to see a country win who has never won before.

Guess you wouldn’t want a Dalliance with her then, as she didn’t have Silver Shorts on.

    Utter tripe.

What was once a fairly decent song contest (Cliff, Sandi Shaw, Brotherhood of Man, Bucks Fizz......and ABBA !!) has turned into a monstrosity of weirdo's trying to outdo each in other in costume design & crap music.

The fact we came last with what can only be described as a "if you can't beat them, join them" performance just shows that Europe hates us more than the Scots & Welsh combined.

I liked our song but it was never going to win, even if Europe was favourable to us. What spoils the contest though is votes that have nothing to do with the song. So Greece always gives Cyprus 12 points and visa versa. The performers could walk on the stage, have a dump and still get the 12 points. Israel is always going to get more votes than the song deserves, often the scandinavians voting for their neighbours etc... Not sure what can be done about it though. What I would say is the song that won, whether it was to your taste or not, actually won on merit and Sam Ryder got the support to come second to a newly invaded Ukraine with a powerful well performed song a few years back. I actually preferred the Swedish song in that contest but it should be about personal tastes not political and geographic loyalties.

For what it is, I thought the standard was pretty decent.

I managed to completely avoid the program, but when I went abed last night I could clearly hear this god awful synth like drum beat coming from afar like a distant cannon.  There was no music just this double thwacking noise.  Jeez it must've been ear splitting close up.

Having now listened to the winner I can identify the culprit as Bangaranga and it was on a constant loop.

I also note that when it comes to political voting the Ukraine need to up their game.  21.8 Billion we've given them since 2022 and we get a lousy one point?

.... Edit I've now heard our entry and it was quite generous on reflection.
