If any which club do you have a soft spot for

I always want Sunderland to do well apart from the good memories of our games with them they are a proper club with proper supporters I think anyway. Never come across any tossers in their fanbase. Latest example leaving hotel for Wembley at last year’s playoffs a big group of their fans (who won the day before obviously) all wished us luck for the game ahead

If you had to twist my arm I’d say West Ham . Only because my lovely grandad was a supporter and on the day he died , while in his care home , he sat up in bed , and started to sing 🎶 I’m forever blowing bubbles 🫧 . He passed away a few hours later .  He barely spoke in the weeks leading to his death so it was an amazing moment.

My answer is West Ham but I’d never support anyone else other than Charlton .

Plymouth Argyle. I must admit to cheating on Charlton my times while I was at University.

Always mixed feelings when the two play eachother, but want CAFC to win of course.

Bournemouth, my Grandparents moved from Forest Hill to West Moors, near Ringwood, in the 70s.
Grandad took me to Dulwich Hamlet a couple of times when living in SE London, then down to Dean Court when we stayed down there.

Brighton - goes back to the 70s, loved away days there.

Plus both sets of fans have united in the past … we understand each other, fighting for our grounds

My mum’s side of the family are St Mirren fans, so I have a big soft spot for them - hoping they don’t get relegated this season!

Aberdeen in Jockland - just because i hate the ugly sisters up there
Colchester as I used to live nearby
Montpellier - my old French teacher always used to draw a team out of a hat for us to follow each season.  I got them in first year
Nuremburg - German teach copied French teacher

Shocking collection of teams and all largely crap.  I must be a jinx

Bolton. My dad and all his family were from there and he took me to my first games between Charlton and Bolton in the early 50s when we were living first in Plumstead, then Mottingham.

Rochdale, since they fell foul of Southall. Great fans, club with a soul. Delighted they are back in the league.

Como, one of my best mates is from there and couldn't believe it when they got taken over by some of the richest people in the world.

Stenhousemuir who have just been promoted. Got to see them a few years ago at Ochilview against Aberdeen in the cup one January (Probably the coldest I've ever been at a game). Ground had a 3/4 G pitch and 2 sided akin to a non league ground. When back in the 70's at school others used to pick either Rangers or Celtic as their Scottish teams I went for Stenhousemuir and followed their results ever since. #upthestenny
