Side tracking I know, but Has Jones been offered a new contract?
Doesnt expire until next Summer, so technically dont need to immediately

And even if he has the club would have no particular reason to announce it, in fact probably it serves them best not to.

McNamara is an interesting one, 2 years ago Millwall were fighting to keep hold of him but seems like he’s fell well out of favour. Seems like the biggest link ATM is Bromley which makes sense as he’s local but I wonder if he might be looked at as competition at right back. Also pretty sure he’s not actually “proper ‘wall” as he comes from a Fulham family.
Not sure where you got that from. His family are most definitely Millwall. From the Sidcup area. Danny had a season ticket at Millwall as a youngster before signing as a youth player.

I actually browsed this thread to see if he got a mention. Would be a great signing for you. Miles too good for Bromley. Can still do a job at championship level in my humble opinion. A bit limited going forward but defensively he’s sound. I was sorry to see him go.

Interesting looking at the released lists and possible loans. Here are a few realistic options. I guess it depends on the type of player we want.

Right Back / Right Wing Back

    Harry Clarke ( Ipswich.)
    Danny McNamara ( Millwall)
Danny Imray ( Palace on loan at West Brom)

Left Back / Left Wing Back

Tayo Ademola ( Palace on loan at Wednesday)
Charlie Taylor ( Saints on loan at West Brom)
    Joe Bryan ( Millwall)
    Conor Townsend ( Ipswich )

Danny Imray’s the one. We missed our chance now though, he’ll be off to a top end champ club

If you look at Hull, I think they still have a transfer embargo until the start of next season.  It hasn’t stopped them picking up a good combination of free transfers. Of all the released Championship players, it’s finding the ones that have still got a point to prove at this level, versus the ones that are going through the motions.

As long as our scouting can weed out the ones that are still up for the fight with a bit of talent, I think this is our best bet for the summer ahead

On that basis it’s a no from me.

He probably would suit us 'MillwallFan' but after the nonsense posted on here after we signed Alex Mitchell, such as we robbed Millwall of their best player or Millwall were gutted to let him go, then I think we should all be a little bit wary of over blown reputations. But apart from that, is he an old fashioned full back or can he play wing back ?

My question is why are Millwall letting him go ?

I've seen absolutely nothing to suggest he'd be an upgrade on Bree or Clarke. Not sure why he's getting such a massive mention

There's disinfectant strong enough for him to be considered.

Definitely old fashioned full back. Primarily a right back but can do a job at left back as well. Excellent defender. Not a lot gets past him. Reads the game well, positioning is excellent. Gets stuck in. Never seen him shirk a tackle. Just going forward he’s limited.

At least he should be one that wouldn’t bottle it at the Den next season. Not a great criteria for choosing signings, though.

Third or fourth hand gossip says we've already bought a player for an undisclosed fee and sold a player for an undisclosed fee.

No names given but given the timing my GUESS is that both are loans being turned into perm deals eg Mitchell to Plymouth and Fevrier or Clarke to Charlton.
Based on frevrier going on holiday with Charlton players instead of watching Stockport at Wembley, good chance it’s him.

Or a swap between tanto and frev

all speculation on until it’s on the official site

The timing would make sense for Mitchell and Clarke, as Plymouth and Ipswich's seasons are over, whereas I can't imagine Stockport getting involved in any detailed transfer business before the playoffs are over.

Please let this be true ……… Millwall mate , reckons that Aston Villa want to sign Azeez for 30 mill … which is mad enough but want TC to replace him … to say he unhappy is an understatement lol

Always said that you was a Millwall fan so this is definitely something that you’ve just made up in your head.
Boring ……. Been going to the valley since 1968 … for your information so once again another of your posts totally incorrect ..
I refuse to believe that someone who’s been watching football for that long could be so wrong about the game in every single post match thread.
Got two promotions and won a London tournament funny enough at the valley as a manager .. once again makes your comments look silly .. don’t comment om
    people you know nothing about
It's The Valley Ronald, don't you know anything....🙄
Might not be on Pro Evo Soccer though?

Would make sense although I would have been surprised if we jumped the gun so quickly on Mitchell considering he would have likely had interest from multiple L1 clubs could have potentially forced out a bidding war unless Plymouth just went all in already.

Considering we hadn’t used Fevrier much until the Hull game not sure we would have known we wanted him permanently. Considering Clarke has been a starter for 6 months that would probably have been in the works for a while

The signing has got to be Fev surely ! he wouldnt be going on holiday with his parent club in the playoff final if he was still on their books imo

In the minority, but I don't think Fevrier is the answer. I hope it's not him.
