Hate Peter Drury on a normal night but his failure to mention Charlton in his spiel about Gallagher's loan spells has wound me up

😂Did he mention every club Gallagher has played for including Swansea ?

The Commentator at the other match said Bournemouth are 1 point behind Liverpool at the final whistle without noticing being 1-1 they are 3 points behind with -6 GD on the Scousers.

    C'mon you Cherries.

Don't care about Arsenal or City, would like to see  AfcB in Europe. Maybe even the Champions League.
Would be very funny if they got CL football ahead of Liverpool.

If they hadn't conceded late on or Brooks had scored one on his 2 chances then they would've had a chance but it's gone now.
Shame as they were 2 goals better on the night.

Yeah that Brooks chance was the one. I actually think it Bournemouth had won tonight they would have pipped Liverpool for fifth spot but, as you say, no chance now.

Chelsea may be 2-0 up but they have looked pretty average to me.

Chelsea 2-0 up against Spurs. There's still a chance they go down

Obviously you never know but can’t see West Ham staying up. Not just because they’re rubbish, but they’ve got Leeds who are playing well and Spurs have Everton who have been on the beach for ages

Spurs are so bad, and yet at the same time possibly the luckiest team in PL history.

Probably going to end up with less than 40 points in two straight seasons and not get relegated. Basically only staying up because they were extremely fortunate to play Villa in between two legs of a European semi final.

Sadly I think this is the most likely option

A run of 18 games unbeaten for Bournemouth is absolutely incredible, a run during which only Chelsea, of the top 15 clubs, they failed to play.

I'm no Arsenal or Arteta fan, but rather them than City yet again.
I (begrudgingly) thought they had quite a likeable side 2 or 3 years ago when they started doing well - they played nice football with Saka, Odegaard, Jesus etc drifting around, Zinchenko cutting inside.

Then I'd have preferred them to win the title last season ahead of Liverpool.

But typically they've instead won it only after reaching a peak of crap football, cheating and whinging.  And when it would have been the funniest bottling of the lot.

    Annoying tw*ts.
Who were they competing with in the title race again?

Mad stat that only Arsenal and City have more points away from home all season. It’s their home form that has killed them, winning only two at home.

West Ham must be all over Leeds from the off, Moyes’s Everton could save them.

Come from an Arsenal supporting family, so I’m and my boy are the exceptions, but I’m delighted for them, and hope they enjoy a bottle of something.

I've a man crush on Iraola after what he's done with Bournemouth. Please don't go to Palace

Didn't want Arteta to win the league, shame. The bloke is so unlikable.  Constantly whinging, plays utterly dreadful football and can't forget that he continued to play Thomas Partey for what, 2 years because he put winning football games ahead of anything else.

Still, Tottenham can still go down, fingers crossed!  Don't dislike them but a too 6 club being relegated simply has to be a good thing.

Funnily enough swap Arteta for Jones and Partey for maybe Doherty and that's probably what a fair few oppo fans would have said about us going up/staying up. All about results.
Wait, what have I missed.  Is Docherty (or any of our players) on trial for rape and sexual abuse charges?

Ironically Arsenal actually played better football 2 years ago when they didn't win the title. This year they've kind of ground out results with more than half of their league wins coming by just 1 goal. Fair play to them for getting over the line but i can't help but feel they've only won it because the rest of the top clubs have been so poor.

    Chelsea have had a shocker.
    Liverpool have had a shocker.
United spent half the season having a shocker.
City pushed them but even they are nowhere near the side of recent years. The Pep team of 2/3/4 years ago would never have dropped points to teams like Forest, Sunderland, West Ham and Everton.

I always chuckle when people go, oh you wouldn’t have won it in x season because Y weren’t very good. The Premier League is strong throughout, every team has decent quality in it, even Burnley and Wolves.

Fair play to them.  They deserve it.  Its more a surprise they havent won it beforehand.

They played better attacking care-free football a couple of seasons ago granted but they wont give a f*ck and rightly so.

The owners backed Arteta, gave him what he wanted and treated the football club like a proper football club.  They needed a better centre mid and went out and bought Rice for £105m.  They needed to get a better keeper and they replaced Ramsdale
with Raya.    At the time the Gooners were spitting feathers at the time but he's arguably the best keeper they've ever had (including Seaman).  They've got 6 defenders who  would walk into most PL teams.  Ball playing CBs at full back, who would have thought it.

I can only see them improving now they've finally got across the line.

However Arteta is still a legoheaded insufferable cockwomble.

I should imagine that all Arsenal fans will be level headed and not make much of a fuss about it...
