Didn't want Arteta to win the league, shame. The bloke is so unlikable.  Constantly whinging, plays utterly dreadful football and can't forget that he continued to play Thomas Partey for what, 2 years because he put winning football games ahead of anything else.

Still, Tottenham can still go down, fingers crossed!  Don't dislike them but a too 6 club being relegated simply has to be a good thing.
Funnily enough swap Arteta for Jones and Partey for maybe Doherty and that's probably what a fair few oppo fans would have said about us going up/staying up. All about results.
What are you talking about?? I’d quickly rethink your post if I was you. That’s such a poor comparison to make between what Partey did and whatever you think of Doc.

Pleased Arsenal have won it. City winning again is boring along with them continuing to spend millions on players despite those outstanding charges.

I take little interest in the Premier League outside of watching the odd game so dont really see the Arteta histrionics. Dont know many Gooners personally and those that I do are level headed about it all.

Yes you are quite right. I'm getting rid of it. Complete brain rot moment.

Bournemouth are so good to watch...remember that game when they won the Championship on the last day of the season when they beat us 3-0...played some lovely football.

Worked out perfectly for the Arsenal players. 10 days to the CL final, so they can really enjoy themselves now, and a complete non game on Sunday.

Backing Palarse (spit) at 3/1 for Sunday's game looks like a good bet to me.

They do have to lift the trophy next to a Sainsbury's though which is less than ideal

Have already seen a few people up town wearing their Arsenal tops, chests puffed out. Nerds.

No chance,  they'll be saving themselves for the Europa League final. Both teams should shake hands in advance on a nil nil draw  :D

Find it funny that spygate has totally overshadowed arsenal winning the title for the first time in years

Seem to have a few Arsenal fans in the squad. TC went to the Emirates last night to celebrate (and take a pic with Saka, hopefully got advice too) and Ramsay and Anderson have both posted about the win

Given that we have such a good youth system that recruits from the local area it’s surprising how few players we’ve had that support us.

Good scenes at the Emirates last night to be fair. Winning it definitely means a lot more to the Goons than it would have to City.

    Is it?!

Unless they had parents that dragged them to games, why would they choose to support us over a PL team? Regardless of them playing for one of our youth teams.

It says a lot more about Arsenal's reach across communities in London, no other club has anywhere near the diversity of support in the city

While it would have been funny had they finished second and they're a not very likeable team, seeing the crowds at the stadium celebrating like that was pretty cool.

    Something that sums up Spurs.

Last game of the season, absolutely huge game for them, and their club captain Romero won't be there. He is apparently going to be in Argentina to watch the league title decider between River Plate and his former team Belgrano.

Arsenal reached the final of the league cup -top in the new format of the Champions League and now in the final-clear and winning the Premier League for 1st time in 22 years.
Plus unlike Man city and Chelsea they didn't break 100's of rules to achieve their goal.

Plus, I enjoyed the arsehole City fan looking sheepish at Bournemouth after Peps players bottled it !

Bizarrely, we have no problem with Nathan Jones going ape shit but Arteta who is demonstrative somehow managed to get his side ready to play weekend, midweek, weekend since August despite the injuries.

I'm Charlton 100% and boy have I suffered with that decision but I do have a soft spot for the gooners and Hearts in Scotland.

Feel relief for CAFC, gutted for Hearts and glad that the bridesmaid finally became the bride for Charlton's nearest neighbour?

Yes, I know they left 113 years ago but it seems just like yesterday.

Sometimes (very rarely) you have to feel a bit sorry for Spurs fans. It's been pretty obvious for a long time that some players (most players) have more or less checked out already but making it so blatantly obvious is still disrespectful in the extreme.

Like Fevrier on holiday with Jones and Ramsay and not at Wembley cheering on Stockport.

I mean not really. For a start Fev isn't the Stockport captain, he actually wasn't really wanted by them anymore

That’s a very different scenario though. A player on loan at another club not going to watch there contracted team isn’t the same as current club captain not being at a game. Not saying Fevrier should miss the play off final but it’s not like Romero situation.

Actually Stockport captain Lewis Bate is injured, like Romero. If he goes to watch his ex club Leeds on Sunday instead of go to Wembley, that would be the same.

Probably a tough call for him to make.

    A) Your boss says you are not wanted but if you like you can come along and sit in the seats and watch us having a great time without you; or

    B) you’ve made some great new mates, you’ve just played the game of your life so far with them in an higher division and they’ve invited you to go on holiday with them.

Some of the social media stuff I’ve seen re: the Arsenal fans celebrating 🤮.  Stupid dances, girls offering themselves up so it looks like blokes are grinding them from behind.

It’s like a cheesy rap video.  My best mate is Arsenal and I have one other close mate who is also Arsenal, but these cheesy little instas - proper cringe.  Makes me almost want Spurs to stay up

Said it before, Arsenal are a great club and their proper old school fans are genuinely decent.  But they are the epitome of a glamour club that attracts the worst sort of modern football fan.

From your piers morgans, Starmers, Corbyns, pretty much every z list celebrity with no link to north london to office divs who go to one match a decade but talk with assumed authority about the top 6 circus.

Grim and give me boring Charlton and our eclectic rabble of a fanbase any day.

Still want them to win the Champions league for what I consider their 'proper' fans and generally support English sides in those sort of games but christ some of their hangers on are utter nauses.

So who's peoples choices to go down...

    Tottenham or West Ham?

It's a difficult one, wish they could both go down even it's just through their connection to that apprentice show.

Some would say west ham with the stadium and everything but for me it's spurs purely because my brother supports them and he gets on my fucking nerves. He's a big spurs fan and even has the cock and ball tattooed on his leg the moron.
Plus that whole super league thing.
