Wow, I didn't realise Draper had fallen so farhoof_it_up_to_benty said:
Will soon be the only British male in the top 100 - Draper likely to exit the top 100 after the French Open.PrincessFiona said:
Agreed. But has managed to get back into the top 20hoof_it_up_to_benty said:Norrie lost to Tirante in straight sets in last 64 at Italian Open.
Not a great time for British tennis at present.
Lot of uncertainty surrounding Raducanu and her fitness.
I wonder if Randucanu has a serious/long term medical condition - whilst she clearly has some mental 'challenges' (frailties), there seems to be some medical ones too, notably with the recent longer term reason for not playing. I wouldn't discount something like Glandular Fever. But is it more serious - makes me think or our our Serge Baltacha's daughter Elena

Hopefully nothing as serious, but it seems more than a virus as reoccuring, as that would sure'y just be a few weeks. I used to have quite low blood pressure, it's still on the low side for my age, but nothing to worry about. It may just be the mental 'challenges' side of her game but she does keep having her blood pressure taken - hence wondering if there is an underlying issue. Hopefully something that be corrected easily. She should have access to top medical careCovered End said:

Cant get excited about this event, probably no British interest after wednesday/thursday,and with no Alcaraz result is really a forgone conclusion unless Novak can drag one more miracle out of his tired old body.2

What are people's thoughts on this continuing protest by the top 20 players about their money?
I find it difficult to support these privilege millionaires but do their demands mean more money being given to grass route and lower ranked players and clubs to help make the sport more accessible or is it just greed by those at the top?0 -
I don’t think it is about the top players. It is about more money for the lower prize tiers. They are asking for more of the revenue to be put in prize potsThink it is 22% they are looking for rather than the recently increased 15%1

So ultimately it's a good thing though they get something out of it as well presumably0

She should probably sack her coach for this.hoof_it_up_to_benty said:Raducanu loses in the opening round to Sierra in straight sets.2 -
Not unexpected with Raduacanu. Hope fully will do better on grass no she's played 2 matches after her lay off. Time will tellhoof_it_up_to_benty said:Raducanu loses in the opening round to Sierra in straight sets. Jones beats Haddad Maia in three sets.0 -
Saw Jones was a set down and behind in the second yesterday so assumed she’d lost. Pleasantly surprised to see otherwise today1
